Looking for a reliable food spot after 9pm on a Saturday night? Well, you found it.
We added the Divide Bar & Grill to our list of places to eat in Billings after receiving a few recommendations from coworkers and friends. The food did not disappoint.
If you're looking for something fancy - this isn't it. But if you're looking for a chill atmosphere to get a good, hearty burger - you've stumbled on the right review. A good burger is always hit or miss. You can make something delicious that pairs great with a cold beer or make a patty that could probably be classified as beef jerky that no one will ever eat again. And Divide got our burgers right.
I'm a mushroom & swiss type of girl and will order it almost anywhere when I'm craving a good burger. The one I had on this visit can easily be classified as a "good" burger. My fiancé really enjoyed his too. So much so that despite the tiredness of spending most of our day in a car, he devoured that thing...we're talking by the time I added some ketchup to mine, his was halfway gone.
The service was okay. We stood at the front door for a bit before being greeted and had to flag down our waitress for water refills. Service was seemingly slow for a restaurant that didn't have many people in it. But, it was late and staff looked pretty minimal. Honestly, nothing that we haven't become accustomed to.
Nevertheless, I definitely recommend...
Read moreFirst off the food was good...however.....they were fairly busy considering the lack of straws for the drinks. We sat at a very small table for barely 4 people it wasnt to bad was kinda cozy.. it took a few for anybody 2 take our drink order but was fast delivery after that....then when the drinks came they brought all of them the same size which would have been fine except the 4 year old could not Physically lift the glass and the watresses solution was a bending straw even though the crayons came in a kid size cup hmmm. Ok we then ordered our food with salad as appetizers. ...it took over 30 min for our food and received our salads with the food on our already over crowded table. The onion rings were dead cold and the pasta for the 4 year old was scolding hot. To the point he could not eat it. We got a box to go so it could cool. We did not see a manager in sight. Tables were left un bussed for way to long. And they were very unorganized. I will go back at some point but I can only hope they get it together. Bad managers produce bad employees teach them the right way to wait on tables. The attitudes were very pleasant and this place will get better with time I hope as the food like I said was very good other than the rings and kids food...
Read moreRandomly stopped by one evening for a quick bite to eat and a beer. Wow ....we were not expecting such great service, hospitity, and such an amazing dining experience. We walked in and instantly were greeted by the staff with a smile. Looking at the menu we were instantly surprised by the interesting and varied menu of items. The drinks came very quickly and while ordering our waiter, Mike, was so helpful and knowledgeable. Ordering was the best part !! .... the Sweet and Spicy PBJ Burger and Margharita Pasta, Mike suggested the Lasagna Soup as a side. The Lasagna soup was amazing and tasted like home cooked Lasagna. The PB&J burger was so unexpectedly delicious with a mix of sweet salty and spicy all on perfect amounts!! The best part of the trip had to be our waiter, Mike. He was so attentive, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed and more. Finally, treating us to a ice cream sandwich made from huckleberry ice cream....sugar cookies...and a delicious jam topping. This was one dinner we will never forget. THANK YOU !!! 100% recommend for anyone who likes great food and an...
