Five Below — Attraction in Montebello

Absolute worst Five Below around. The customer service here is totally awful and the store is a mess. Not even exaggerating. This location has 10 self checkouts but the kids working had all of them turned off and were using only the main register, despite the store being crowded on a Thursday evening.

Two people were waiting at the one register to be helped and we got on the usual line to check out, but the girl sitting on the floor sorting through returns looked at us and said the line forms that way, pointing away from the checkout and towards the main entrance. Didn't make any sense but OK.

She then for some reason immediately opened two self checkout registers and started ringing up the people behind us. What? And not just them but her and another employee that appeared from the back rung up about 10 or 11 people, all while we and the other people in front of us were still waiting to be helped! Hello, you put us over on this line!

Nobody working in this place used any common sense here. She could have easily realized her mistake and corrected it by bringing us back to the self checkout register or turned on an other one, or one of twenty solutions, but she and the other two employees did nothing... And now every single one of those people getting quickly checked out had to navigate around us to exit! Not fun.

This should be a quick fun place to grab some discounted candy, yet the terrible employees at this location ruined the whole trip...

Showed up right at closing time,my son and I were getting to the door as they were about to lock it.they said they were closing, i said just real quick and she said ok,,that was absolutely unbelievable from many many places i been to even 10 minutes before closing time.we were there probably at 7:59:30 and they close at 8..that alone was great..we get our things n pay the very beautiful cashier and walk out...as we reach the car my son gets in i walk around and about to get in and then i hear "excuse me ,is you're name Jacob"? i immediately say who ? Hell no thinking she was with the cops! Hahaha lol just kidding....i say yes to her question and she says "you left you're phone" i hadn't even noticed i didn't have it,i say thank u get my phone and yup i say it was a great experience at FIVE BELOW..been there many times before n will be there many times after ,all my trips there have been a good...

DO NOT walk into this store unless you are ready to spend Five dollars and above!!! There was waaaayyyyy tooo many cool things to buy! Oh yeah and don't go with kids, because they will run rampant and you'll end up paying for so many toys!! Right now they have these ADORABLE mini tumblers that are too cute for words! They are $2 individually, but if you walk around, you can find a pack of 4 tumblers for only $5! I also found a cleaning scrubber I was looking at online that was half the price!!! Oh my goodness.....I'm not a rich woman...but if I could just simply have a shopping spree or win the lottery...there were way too many t-shirts, toys, household goods, etc....that I want to...
