Del Taco — Restaurant in Montebello

I was just there today, at Del Taco in Montebello. Saturday 02/04/2023 I went inside to place my order and the service was horrible. The person who took my ordered, I felt was not trained enough to even be on a register already. This was not the fault of the new employee, it was the fault of management who put him there, especially on a dinner rush. My order number on my receipt was number 8# that was somehow duplicated and the same number was given out twice, So me and another customer had the same order number, because this happening my order was given to her. She happened to open up my burritos, and brought them back to the counter to talk to the employee who took her order. The order that she had brought back where apparently my burritos that the customer had already open. I was surprised when the employee who was servicing drive through got involved ,and told the new hired employee on register to shut up. She then gave me the opened burritos by placing them in front of me ,and said "her are your burritos". I told her no , that I was not accepting them and wanted her to replace them. I said to her " really" you want me to take these opened burritos. Why would I want burritos that where touched and opened by another customer ! I was surprised at her ,and " I said forget it"!! It was surprising to me that there was not a manager at this Del Taco at Montebello that I could talk to about the poor service I got at this restaurants. I will not be going back to this Del taco ever again. =( I left without my burritos and...

Good food using lots of real ingredients, the chicken is awesome! Great if you work out hard and want to cut fat while gaining muscle (imo); chicken soft tacos (no cheese, no sauce).

The chicken soft tacos are my fav. The red sauce bean and cheese burrito is good. The nachos are good. The quesadilla tacos are quite tasty. The burgers are okay.

Omg, the guy who made my Epic Burritos really skimped on the epic part. When I order a burrito, I don't want 25% of the volume to be tortilla!!! Lol For the price of these, I could have made a bigger one buying individual tacos and fries...

Would be nice if the listed hours was also located next to the entrance, and not only the drive through window.

Yeah, I understand everyone's frustration with the 24hr thing but you can't reasonable expect many places to honor that during pandemic times, especially when it's moderately likely we're about to go into another economic downturn.

The instant noodle birria gave me INSANE quantities of gas. It tasted okay. The meat was practically non-existent, just some tiny shreds of meat.

Terrible Management...A gold mine..with the right person in charge...I've been turned away several times because there supposedly didnt have people who where supposed to show...ive watch others getting kicked out and doors closed..drive thru closed with the same exuce...or not having the correct ground beef to make tacos...at DEL TACO..are you serious...i thought between burritos and tacos..you need the ground beef in most..right..instead i had to eat turkey meat...and that was ok i guess but the times when being turned away altogether with no explanation but Where Closedtells me go elsewhere ..several times this acured...while the person running the shift had a break down...now this place is closed for how long no-one knows...Del Tacos have really lost there customer service...this used to be my favorite place to eat...its ..Terrible...who owns these aweful places..time to shut them down..and find a new image..with better employees..who care to be there...im going to fill out a application...if given a opportunity at management...i know we could turn it around..I work for AAA and this is unexceptable on soo many levels...STARTING WITH CUSTOMER TOTALLY...
