The Montgomery Mall is like an iconic Salsa Dancer who took a terrible fall in his final performance and broke both hips but refuses to get them replaced. His core audience will still come out to see him and waive…but they are really there to view the upcoming talented acts surrounding him. A la Señior Wegmans. The upper middle class neighborhood demographic has clearly outgrown the offerings at this mall and yearn for more. Like KOP more. As I walked in I was greeted with the sight of the first photo you see and it was tell tale. Sometimes you get caught with your pants down! Yikes! As I continued through Macys out to the mall the first thing you see is a row of 5 plus stores that have vacated. This is not what you wanna see. As you continue your tour….while dodging speedy seniors in big sneakers who have come purely to exercise and capitalize on every sq ft…you will be met with many many more stores that are no longer. Don’t count on an escalator working or for a clean bathroom at this point. Clearly…It is time to rebuild and rebrand and I strongly believe it is in the works behind the scenes. Until then…I’d say it’s a great place to go and get those steps in and offer some much needed socialization to the employees that remain. Kinda excited to see what’s next… Thanks and I appreciate those who follow along as #RealReviewsEverything across the country. The journey has just begun…. #mall #malls #nearby #montco

All I can say is WOW, this place has really changed since the last time I've been here - which has been a long, long time, about 18 years. Used to love heading up here, even with my parents in the late 70's, all through the 80s (yeah, I'm aging myself) It's one of the older malls in the Philadelphia area, it needed a remodel. I know things change in time, sometimes for the better...sometimes not. Personally this did not change for the better. Pulling up to the 2nd level entrance was already a major change. They do have stand alone Wegman's here (where John Wanamaker's used to stand) - a plus for those in the area. The exterior of Macy's, looked like the place was abandoned for a decade - can someone paint the outside walls?? As for the rest of the mall, it just has a bland, depressing vibe to it. Not many people walking around - which also might be a plus for many, quite a few stores going out of business or closed. The stores that are actually open..it's not an impressive selection personally. I was literally in and out of that mall within 20 min - I fully walked the entire 2nd and 1st levels. But at least I got some exercise. If you ask me, the place needs another remodel ASAP. I personally have no reason to go back.

This mall is medium sized, clean and well-lit. They have a decent variety of stores, including most of the standard mall stores such as Macy's, J.C. Penney's, Spencer's and several jewelry and cellphone stores. The food court is adequate, though there are a few empty spots, along with a several empty storefronts in the main mall. There is a bungee bounce-jump machine, which can be fun for kids and adults alike! If you can't find what you want inside the mall, there is another shopping center across the street from the mall, making it a very convenient area to shop in. There are several SEPTA bus routes that pick up and drop off at the back entrance, so if you don't drive you can still get here easily. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to shop and I visit whenever I have enough things I need to buy to justify the bus ride 😀

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been a proud member of The Police and Fire Credit Union, located at the Montgomeryville Mall, and I can confidently say that it is the best financial institution I have ever been a part of. My late mother signed me up at the Haverford Avenue location in Philadelphia, and since then, they have been unwavering in their support, even during challenging times.

Throughout my membership, I have experienced a few hiccups, but The Police and Fire Credit Union has consistently stood by me. Their dedication to their members is truly commendable. I have never encountered such a level of commitment and personalized service at any other financial institution.

The Montgomeryville Mall location is convenient for me, and the staff there has always been friendly, professional, and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure that my banking needs are met and that I am satisfied as a member. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist make every interaction a positive one.

I can confidently say that I have found my financial home at The Police and Fire Credit Union. The trust and loyalty they have shown me over the years are unmatched. The Credit Union's commitment to their members is evident in the exceptional service they provide.

As #DrAllenDavisDCstudent, author, and creator, I highly recommend The Police and Fire Credit Union to anyone seeking a reliable and customer-focused financial institution. They truly understand the importance of building strong relationships with their members and providing personalized solutions to meet their financial goals.

In conclusion, I want to express my gratitude to The Police and Fire Credit Union, particularly the team at the Montgomeryville Mall location. Thank you for your unwavering support, exceptional service, and dedication to your members. I am proud to be a part of this institution and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

The Montgomery Mall is packed with a bunch of good stores. Whether you're going clothes shopping, food shopping, or going for electronics you will find what you're looking for at the Montgomery Mall. There has been many upgrades made to this mall over the past several years. They have a section for children. It's like a little of Romper Room type of thing. The kids seem to like it though. It still has all the good old stores in there. There are plenty of places to go shopping for clothes. There is the gap and also Old Navy not to mention sporting goods stores like Champs. The big department stores are still there. Also all of the Stands in the middle of the mall have good stuff to offer as well. I did not see the McDonald's last time I was there. I guess they got rid of it. The food court at the Montgomery Mall is pretty good. they have different restaurants throughout the mall. And of course you can't forget those delicious pretzels at Auntie Anne's. There is always more than enough parking because the parking lots are so big at the Montgomery Mall. So don't worry about finding parking. Parking will be there. There are also several SEPTA buses that go to the Montgomery Mall with the 96 and 94 among them. Pretty much whatever you can ever want you can find at the Montgomery Mall. I put Montgomery Mall right up there as an equal 2 Willow Grove Mall and better than Plymouth...
