What a beautiful place to go walk! First off they have picnic tables, with trash cans and a covering over the tables. They have a big playground area which is safe for all ages. It looks like a new playground with nice bright colors. There is a beautiful garden area with a bridge and benches galore. We loved walking there prior to sunset to enjoy the beautiful spring weather and tree buds. Go enjoy it today!

I did not expect this beautiful park inside city. Initially I thought it is private park because it has gate that opens and closes daily. But I figured it’s a managed park by department of park and recreation. Parking inside park is free. They have planetarium as well. Good place for gathering and walking around through the day.

I went to the botanical garden there and there were a lot of people having family gatherings under the pavilions and using the picnic tables. Lots of shade at the park, green grass, and a playground for the kids.

absolutely love this place since i can remember; when u enter the park to your right down hill a short distance a pond a bridged walkway traversing the center is actually an old habitat island where they had a community of small monkey's. also on the same property is a whtie dome shaped building called the planetarium (which i believe u have to book n advance but well worth it) that is an auditorium with reclining sets with a 3D presentation of solar systems and intergalactic adventure as well. the park is large open complete with beautiful enormous hard wood trees, public bathroom facility/building closer to the entrance. plus plenty of parking and great for larger outdoor barbecues, activities, events, family reunions, and of course sexercising! there is also a fire station that...

The recent update to the botanical gardens makes this a good place to go for a peaceful stroll through a beautiful scenery. It's kind of convenient to a large part of Montgomery and right of the interstate. So that part is good if you want a nice place to stretch your legs during a long road trip or work in downtown and want quiet peaceful place to eat lunch or even just enjoy some nature, without having to drive a long way. And of course, can't forget the playground for the kiddos. There are several different playgrounds to choose from, a very large walking path. With several picnic areas, it's a good place to consider for family reunions or parties. There are wide open spaces where you can play kickball or fly kites. A Good place to spend some extra time with family and get...

Horrible place to bring your kids, just horrible. Saw a small family jump up and head to the car, guess it's time to go, and me and my wife and four kids was right behind them because gun shots could have rung out at any moment, and funny part is the police disappeared and was no where to be found to stop the four wheeler riders. What if the children jumped from behind a tree and was ran over. Montgomery don't care literally so you better. Go elsewhere or you may regret it, just saying this park use to be decent,...
