So you have 4 to 5 hours of movie playing, your not allowed to bring in food without paying for a 10 dollar permit which is understandable until they close the concession before the second movie even starts! And then your stuck watching this second movie with nothing to snack on or drink so you can lose some of your money by leaving for get the most out of it and AT LEAST get the second movie in. I was cool with the changes by the new owners I didnt like the price going up but whatever support your local whatever. I get it! But to do people like that with your concessions is downright messy. Guess Ill watch this second movie since yall at least got those funds. Get what I paid for there....barely! But this will be the last time I come here. And before we feel like thats not a big deal ive been here 80% of the opening season. Thats hundreds of dollars spent at your drive in just to continously disappoint. Melody for the win! Stayed local to support local but ill eat the gas to go somewhere that cares a little more about the people they serve AND they dont mind outside snacks. They understand not everyone can afford concessions but just a dollar box candy off dollar...
Read moreEdit: my previous review was done 3 years ago but we visited the last weekend of August 2025 and it was a different experience.. we were looking forward to the burgers and fries (that's our go-to every year), but they tasted SO different and not in a good way.. we tried other items from the menu but did not hit the spot. We love supporting local but we may need to start having dinner before coming to the movies. Granted, we weren't aware of the new management but that would explain the changes. We also missed the funny commentary and announcements in between songs (before the previews start).. 4/10 :( ....
Original review - First time going to this drive-in and we had a wonderful experience!!! Everyone from the staff was nice and friendly. We enjoyed the radio DJ and the announcements they were making. The concession stand had a lot of variety and prices are great!!! Overall we had a good time and decided we'll probably start watching our movies here instead of the regular movie theater even if we drive...
Read moreI recommend heading elsewhere. This place used to be great. Went to see the new Superman and it could've been really good, but there was a random soundtrack playing during the entire movie. Assumed it was a fluke or some unlucky radio interference. Went back again to see the new Fantastic 4. Same exact problem and it ruined every serious scene in the film. I say the same exact problem because it was the same soundtrack playing in the background. I'm assuming they're starting the movie on a timer and not turning off their ad reel.
I also don't like how it's a full hour of ads before the movie starts. I get that it has to be dark before you can get a film going, but if you're staying for both movies between the film runtimes and the ad runtimes your not heading home until at least 2 AM. I understand you have to make your money somehow, but I just don't feel drawn back.
We'll probably be avoiding the drive in for the foreseeable future until the audio...
