Star Drive-In Theatre — Attraction in Montrose

Honestly I love the drive in. It is always clean and friendly place to enjoy a movie. But I think they should think about following in the Fox theatre steps and banning children below the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult. We were parked next to a huge group of teenagers who yelled and talked the whole movie. They wrestled each other and were throwing rocks and candy at our vehicle. When told to knock it off and be respectful they denied everything and became even more obnoxious. They broke glass all around our vehicle and we had our dogs with us so we had to carry them around. And on the other side of us was a family with two toddlers who never made a peep. Everyone within a 10 space parking spot from them was annoyed. Unfortunately it’s kids like this who ruin it for everyone because as we were leaving there was quite a few teenagers there who were quiet and respectful but the few ruin it for the all. I never wanted to be someone who hates teenagers. But they destroyed and disrespected the Fox theatre and now they are doing the same to the drive in. This is my second time coming here. I LOVE IT. We live in Monument, its a long drive but for my Husband and I it's worth it. They also have a Best Western Hotel you can stay and watch the movie out the big windows from bed. Sitting there with the radio on so long, our battery died. Well we called the Hotel because the Concession stand was Closed. The Employee's or Owners not sure exactly who they were. Brought out a tiny Jump starter box and within 5 minutes we were pulling out and headed to the Hotel to go to bed. Ahhh so much...

This place is the best! They have $2 bills at the ticket booth and 50 cent peices at the concession stand to give you as change! Absolutely the cleanest bathrooms I've been in. You can tell they painted them in preparation for the summer. Staff is super friendly. Speakers were loud enough for us to hear them without removing them from the stand. You can tell the the staff put a lot of work into keeping this place maintained. We drive 90 minutes to take our kids here so they can have these special memories. Keep up the...
