EJW Outdoors, Inc. — Attraction in Morehead City

Top notch shop, and very knowledgeable staff. I always stop in when I travel south, talk to the guys to get the latest fishing report and tips, pick up a recommendation of lures. Always have what I'm looking for. This trip talked to Noah, of Noah's Lucky Lures. He got me set on the right path with some spring fishing tips.

Updated:6-24-23 - second trip of the year. Once again I got hooked up with Noah, he got me all set up with the right stuff. Had a great week of fishing. Caught lots of Reds and flounder. No trout. I religiously used a Strike King Red Fish magic. I used dark and Stormy kicktail minnows on the jig head (as per Noah's advice) to mimic the mullets he said the fish should be feeding on since the shrimp weren't quite in where I was fishing (brackish water) Caught several 20"+ flounder and reds ave. in the 20-24" range. Not quite bass pro shops but has everything you need. A pretty awesome store. It was odd entering the bike shop full of shoes and being greeted by 2 unenthused men in their late 50s early 60s fiddling with bikes. They were fairly knowledgeable about the deck boots and nice eniugh to even check and see if they cane in "half sizes" i.e. 10.5 or wides, they DO NOT if you were wondering, at least not Grundens... Loved my extra tuff half cut ankle boots but they lasted me only about 8 months and I was not wearing them everyday. So next up for the same price, Grundens. Gotta love neoprene dipped in rubber. they dont breath well bjt they sure are secure amd they will keep your feet dry from the outside weather. I recently went in to EJW Outdoors to hopefully have a scope mounted on my shotgun and make it back out to the range to sight it in. Michael built up a nice scope package, mounted it, took the time to make sure it was adjusted to where I was happy with it, and bore sighted it. I also made it back to the range to get it sighted in, which was simple with the target he recommended and a gun that was shooting on paper. I was super impressed with the customer service, attention to detail, and pride Michael put's into his work. I had no concerns that the scope was done right and felt like I was leaving with exactly what I came in for and at a great price.
