This “park” is located on the waterfront of Morehead City. It’s not your conventional park as it really is a grass strip with some benches and swings overlooking the beautiful harbor and sugarloaf island. In the summer, music bands play at the park. You will also find free boat parking, as well as paid, and restrooms. It’s a great area to bring food down and enjoy the breeze and view.

Nice and peaceful park to lay back, watch the water and boats come in, and feel the summer breeze. Benches and swing seats along the walkway. Grassed area to let the pups run (and there are poo bags and deposit bin).

We spent a few days in Morehead and our hotel was right on top of this park. Beautiful little place with benches to enjoy the view, a green space to play and a stage. You will feel the cool breeze on your face.

This is more of a boardwalk then it is a park. There are no swings or playground for the kids to play on. It's just a nice boardwalk with seating to sit, relax and enjoy the views. Close your eyes and sing in your head "watching the ships roll in and then I watch'em roll...

Morehead City waits until peak Summer & Fishing Season to turn this park into a junky pile of rocks and dirt!! Even the Concert stage is gone and the parking spaces at Jaycee Park by Day 9th Street are limited or blocked by construction. Not much fun here for...
