Speedwell Lake — Attraction in Morristown

Really nice park with one of the cooler spillways (man made dam) you will find. It has some nice age to it as well which adds to the ambiance. You can fish all along the lake proper or just take a nice stroll (or bike ride) along aptly named Patriots path (nothing difficult to traverse). At the mouth of the park is a nice playground for the youngins'. Well maintained and pretty clean over all... some cool sights and lots of shade which is a great thing for those hot days. Very great area for biking and general walking/relaxation. There are plenty of fishing spots located throughout the lake, which is convenient for anglers in search of their next catch.
