A & B Bagel and Deli — Restaurant in Morris Township

I have been placing at least one order a week from this restaurant for a little over a year. An everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese is what I always order. My order was placed over the phone, so it will be ready when I get there. On this specific day, I walk into the store with a customer standing behind me. The other customer is further to my left and stands farther away from the cash register. 1. The store clerk approaches the other customer and asks if she can assist him. He says, "I was here first," in a kind manner. 2nd. I continue by informing her that I called in an order and pointing to the one bagel that appears to be my order, and it is in my line of sight. 3. She then makes additional food orders for the client who entered the store after me. 4. A man exits the restroom, and I assume that she is completing his order as well, as my bagel, which is already prepared, is still sitting there. 5. She delivers the man his food as he exits the restroom and wishes him a good day. 6. She takes the bagel, which I had assumed was mine, and puts it in a bag. 7. She gives me my change but says nothing to make my day better. I desperately felt some racist...

I have send my son to the bagel place many times. This time around my son paid cash. I would advise parents to go in with their child as the lady in the place gives out wrong change and moves on to the next with out any consideration. She has messed up orders in the past that why I don’t even go inside as I don’t want to interact with her.she is never professional as they always use excuses “we are busy store”. My son loves the place so I only go there bc he likes it. Well, after me letting her know to be more aware she told me to get out of the place! Very professional on her part. I wouldn’t recommend anyone dealing with her as she has no costumer service experience. The other man that works there is very nice and always on point. Be aware of the nasty lady in the store. Avoid her...

This place is AMAZING! It was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the area. We went for some breakfast sandwiches; I had an egg wrap with veggies - and my husband had the most perfect pork roll egg & cheese on a jalapeno bagel with a freaking crispy hash brown in it - he said it was perfection. THEN since we weren't from the area, the owner(?) generously offered to have us sample the chicken cutlet and eggplant cutlet ... HOLY MOLY. We ended up ordering some of both to go - by far the best chicken & eggplant cutlet we've ever ever had .. and we've been to about a bajillion places in NYC & NJ. You can tell a lot of heart goes into everything they make. Will definitely be back next time we...
