Great Frame Up — Attraction in Mount Laurel Township

Bart and Darlene, the couple behind The Great Frame Up, Mount Laurel, are truly masters of their craft. I was lucky enough to have their shop within walking distance of my house and stumbled upon the best frame shop in South Jersey. So far, my wife and I have had almost thirty pieces framed by Bart and Dar; most of it concert posters, but they’ve done some photographs and a few other special pieces. We’ve had several people joke that our main wall looks like an art gallery and it’s all thanks to Bart and Dar. Our posters are the artwork, so we’ve chosen simple frames and matting to let the artwork stand out. Even in the simplest application, the frame work done is impeccably. The duo offers their advice freely when we’ve taken non-concert related pieces to them, too. Their work is beautiful, we’ve never been disappointed. My favorite piece is a shadowbox that Bart put together from my trip to Superbowl 50. I tried to do it myself and it looked like a kindergarten art project. I had the most EXCEPTIONAL service here! My story begins a few weeks ago when I awoke to see my framed print crashed on my dining room floor with the metal hanger snapped in half. I noticed on the back a Great frame up sticker so I called the closest location, which was this location in NJ. I called and Bart answered. I explained that I had this print framed 25 years ago in Chicago and was now living on Long Island and was hoping he could help. Well, what he did next was above and beyond…he mentioned his daughter also lived on Long Island and suggested that I drop the print off by her since she would be visiting soon. I did just that and with a few weeks Bart contacted me again to states that the print had been reframed however, due to the framed size, his daughter was unable to bring it back so I happily took the 3hr trip to NJ to pick up the beautifully framed print. From the moment I walked in, the customer service that was shown by Bart and Darlene was that not seen by most places these days. They greeted me as if I was a returning long time patron. I described and showed what I wanted done. Bart provided his expertise in the best framing of my artwork of my daughter’s graduation cap. It came out so good and when presented to my daughter brought to tears seeing her Masters Degree cap memorialized In framing.

I also decided in having a print for my Dad’s 80th birthday framed. While being rather large I needed an easel stand to hold the picture.
