I have eaten sushi in Puerto Rico, Colorado and many places that are ok to my taste. But for me the best place to eat Sushi is Wasabi Restaurant in Mount Laurel, NJ. I enjoy the sushi they prepare here. It is so fresh and I can enjoy every flavor of their rolls or sushi with or without any sauce. From the rice, avocados and fish. I love their yellowtail with scallions and their salmon avocado roll. I like their combo Japanese fried rice too. This is just my favorites but I know that everything they prepare in this Restaurant is top quality. If you decide to enjoy this place by take out or dining, be aware that they will require some time to prepare your meal because it is not a fast food and the food will be prepared fresh for you. Since I tasted their sushi rolls I can’t eat a pre made sushi or supermarket, or buffet sushi anymore. With this restaurant I learned to eat raw fish. I used to eat before rolls that were only with shrimp, eel, or smoked salmon. Now, I can eat all...
Read moreI ordered a sushi lunch special and the sushi was horrible, specifically the avocado was bad. The woman at the counter was nice when I initially placed my order, however when I approached her after trying 1 of the California Rolls she became aggressive and rude. I explained to her that I only had 1, as she could clearly see. I ordered 3 rolls (18 pieces), I returned the platter with 17 pieces and she proceeded to argue with me the ENTIRE time that they have never had anyone return anything. She was upset because I put soy sauce on the rolls and “now we have to throw them out”. You should be throwing them out anyway they were returned, you shouldn’t be selling them again once they’ve been given to a customer, left the establishment, and have been opened by someone. I tried this place because my go to sushi spot Megu is closed on Tuesdays and I really wanted sushi. Prime example of stick to what you know because the food was terrible and the customer service...
Read moreI picked up my order so I can’t rate their service or atmosphere, but the food is a solid 2/5. The best part about it was the sushi, which was average at most. The gyoza was alright. Their soy sauce was bottom-barrel, so I used my own. The chicken hibachi was the biggest disgrace - At $18 it is just the meat and veggies, no noodles (instead you get a kid-size plain rice). It was terrible tasting and extremely overcooked, plus it contains either old or maybe frozen vegetables. The green salad had a single cucumber slice and nothing else except oversized lettuce leaves; The ginger sauce was extremely weird tasting so I threw it out. They charge an extra dollar for clear soup as opposed to miso, which makes no sense because miso literally costs more to make. The soup was tasted fine, but had no scallions or French onions - literally just broth and rehydrated mushrooms. My boyfriend and I were EXTREMELY underwhelmed and disappointed by their food. We will not...
