We stopped here for dinner recently and had a pretty good experience. The menu is large and offers many chicken options for wings and boneless pieces. There are also other items such as tteobokki, calamari, and rolled ice cream. In addition, the drink menu has at least 2 dozen selections for teas and boba.
The restaurant is very clean and bright, and the workers are friendly. Like others have noted, it does take a while for food to be prepared, but that’s because every order appears to be freshly made. You can’t see the kitchen, but I don’t think food is sitting under heat lamps or resting inside warmers.
We wanted to have the chicken/fries/drink combo option, but were disappointed to discover this is only available at lunch. We ordered honey garlic and soy garlic boneless wings, fries, and a boba. Overall, the food was great and the portion sizes were large. We had leftovers to eat the next day.
The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well sauced. Though I prefer skinny fries, the thicker cut fries they served were good too. The boba was large, but my teenager found it to be a bit too sweet and not quite as fruit flavored as she hoped. We were happy to see our order including two small servings of yummy pickled radish.
Overall, BBQ Chicken is great lunch or dinner option. I definitely plan to return and will tell friends and...
Read moreI ordered a half and half "whole" chicken. It was just wings and thighs cut in half. No breast at all. Super disappointing. The original one is just meh. The coating is crunchy but flavorless. The Secret Sauce one tastes much better. The chicken meat doesn't taste like much but some pieces didn't taste fresh. Ordered this to feed the family and everyone was still hungry afterwards because there is very little meat here, just coating and bones. I ordered "Cheeseling" fries too and those were OK even though there wasn't much cheese flavor and they were very sugary. I'm guessing this place gets good reviews just for the sauces on the wings. The wings are tiny with almost no meat though so I don't get it. Maybe the boneless is better but after this I'm guessing they are probably chicken nugget sized. I feel ripped off so I definitely don't recommend coming here.
Update: saw my kid got a breast but it's tiny. 2.5 inches by 2 inches, so basically they are using very small Cornish game hens. No wonder all the pieces were so tiny. "Whole chicken", yeah, technically but...
Read moreI ordered to go wings form here for the first time. I went to taste them in my car before I pulled off because I was starving and I ended up heating the whole box in the parking lot. They are the best wings I've ever had hands down. I got the honey garlic wings and they are amazing. The skin is crispy fried to perfection. Light and airy I wonder if they air fry them because they aren't greasy at all. The sauce was amazing, sweet, tangy with a slight kick. I don't like a lot of spice so it was perfect. The fries were okay, kinda soggy and tasted like grease. However, I got a peach green tea which was a little sweet but still delicious. but the wings I'd come back just for them abd I'd make a special trip...
