A simply amazing find!
Just moved back to New Jersey from Olympia Washington. I'd like to consider myself very picky with sushi. There are alot of places out there that have decent sushi, but it ends there. Miyabi is NOT one of those places. On my first visit I was extremely impressed with the quality and taste of their sushi. Everything tasted authentic and was presented well.
The staff was courteous and the time it took for our meal to arrive was impressive.
After my wife and I enjoyed 5 rolls, I expected to dish out at least $60 for such good sushi. To my shock, the bill was only $40. That is probably the best price I have ever paid for sushi with such good quality. Their $6 rolls are great and well worth the price!

Miyabi Restaurant has a very nice atmosphere! The interior is above average. Hot tea was really good. Service was excellent! Although, my husband and I did go during non-peak hours on a Sunday. Miso soup was good. Salad was excellent. Shumai was very tasty! Sushi was excellent! We ordered the M-16 and Daniel rolls. I preferred the Daniel roll because I like cream cheese. The oyakodon was good but wasn't what I expected. I expected an actual fried egg on top of the chicken katsu. Instead, the egg was fried with the katsu. My family eats there at least 3x a month spending $100 each time. As I was picking up my $100 meal the other day they said they would donate to a function for my kids school. I came in with the appropriate paperwork. They told me to come back and they would absolutely donate because at the moment they were too busy. I called today and they said they couldn’t offer me anything and that they have no money and hung up on me! I will be giving my $300+ dinner to another restaurant if that’s how they’re going to treat their loyal customers. It could have been a coupon for dinner!
