Habitat for Humanity ReStore — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

We walk in The clerk is busy exchanging stories with people didn’t greet us. The first room has some knickknacks and cups and I see the cell floor with all the furniture etc. we walk in and two of the workers hard-core stare at my daughter and I. It was very uncomfortable I just tried to be polite and smiled and moved on. I saw a cute dresser looked at the price tag which was a blue piece of tape which read not for sale. I Was confused and as I look around all the furniture on the floor says not for sale!! I start thinking that’s why the workers were staring at us we’re not in the sale room! But then I see one or two items of extremely scratched up junk furniture with Sale tags… I turned my daughter and said let’s leave nothing’s for sale!! I wasted a 30 minute trip from Ithaca to come check out your store to not even be able to browse! I will go to the st Johns store where the merchandise is actually for sale!! If the stuff that wasn’t for sale was inventory for your homes ( Not sure how it works) You need a separate building for things you don’t wanna sell in a sale floor for Items you actually...

Went into the restore yesterday found a set of ryobi tools we wanted to buy and some guy came out of the back and said they couldn’t be sold because the had not been tested we said we would buy them anyhow or wait for them to be tested so we could buy them and he said we still could not buy them. Will be going back there today to get the owners number and get this straightened out if they are on the sales floor and marked with a price tag they are for sale.

Update went back today the supposedly tested everything and then they raised the price on me too $45.00 more, found out when I got home they took one of the batteries, the charger and 2 of the tools called them they tried to tell me they did not work and couldn’t sell them BS we had tested everything our selves yesterday and everything worked just fine. I am going to be contacting the owner as now we were sold stuff we can’t even use because they took the charger out of the bag, we are missing 2 of the tools...

New Manager equals high prices and less people donating to this cause $800 for a used hutch ? These items were DONATED for FREE you are not an antique shop get over yourself and do the community good ! People don't have $800 to spend that visit your store if they did they would be at ARTVAN! Also the parking lot is terrible and all roped off not inviting to a customer to step in a mud puddle 8feet wide to visit your store or walk around the only paved area in the lot in a maze pattern your staff is very nice too bad the manager is...
