Meh at best. Stopped here for a lunch break because of the good reviews, wish I had just gone across the road to KFC.
Burger, fries, and drink ended up just around $8. The two individuals handling my food at the window did not wear gloves putting the fries or burger into the bag. By the time I drove the 3 or so minutes back to work the fries were cold. The burger looked like it'd been slopped on the bun along with the toppings then stepped on to make sure everything stayed together. The taste was bland and not good. You ever eat somewhere and feel your gut start to seize up before you finish? Like a preemptive cramp warning you that the later evening will not be pleasant? Yeah, that's what I got at Pixie Burger. Granted, I usually cook my own food and stay away from fast food but I can usually stomach most anything. The portion size was minuscule for the price. $7 at KFC gets you a packed KFC bowl with extra chicken, cheese, a cookie, and a drink. $11 at Five Guy's gets you a double burger and more fries than you can eat. From what I saw and tasted, Pixie Restaurant is subpar and definitely not worth your money or time. Go to any number of fast food in MP or local places like Jon's Country Burgers or Robaire's for a better deal in both price, quality, quantity, and cleanliness. Will not...
Read moreOrdered a chicken grinder, the chicken was freezing cold, and the whole sandwich was dry. The onion was way too overpowering. The jumbo cheeseburger wasn't even that good. The brownie tastes like a messed up box mix. Taste like a bunch of eggs and oil there is no balance. The frosting doesn't even help it. The breeze, I ordered a reeses they rang me up for butterfinger. They give me the "correct" one that still tasted like Twix instead... and stuck to my teeth reeses does not stick to your teeth it's like they use the stuff mcdonalds used. The twister fries and regular fries came out cold. The mini corn nuggz, which being first time I thought they were corn dogs like A&W no they are literally pieces of corn dropped in batter and fried. They are the only thing that stayed warm the entire visit. The mozzarella sticks are BOSCO STICKS, this is a place that is not worth it. $35 for food that was worth maybe $10... no idea who ordered who as they don't give you your ticket until after they bring you your food. And when they bring out the food they ask everyone until they get to if it's your order. Lack of organization and lack of food quality. It's like your stopping at a truck stop instead of a sitdown/drive thru. Drive-In as they call...
Read moreThe place is nice, but the food is trash. Everything was precooked and reheated. The mini burgers were processed frozen patties reheated partially, not even warm enough to melt cheese Not fresh ground chuck like is on the menu. I guess at some point in its history it was fresh prior being processed and frozen into odd shaped pucks. Ordered a "famous coney" it was forgotten when the microwave food came out. I went back to the counter to let them know and they opened a drawer full of pre-made and wrapped coney dogs. Is it so hard to freshly make a coney dog? The only way it's famous is because it's on the top of the list of worst coney dogs in the world. We also ordered a chicken ranch wrap, couldn't eat it threw it out. It had a chicken'ish substance in it, seemed like canned chicken, or should change the name to shitcken wrap, marketing that may be an issue. But let's be honest, this place is long pass it's prime. it's time to retire and sell it to a franchise that has some sort...
