A surprisingly good spot to stop by just before sunset. You can park on the side and walk down closer to the waters. Lake Siskiyou is clean and clear, so you can enjoy the reflection of the forest in the afterglow of the sun. Even driving down the road and turning right on Ream Rd, you can see a wonderful view of Mt. Shasta halfway down the road. There's a trail to the dam, though that's better enjoyed midday.

It’s a pretty big dam and it’s nice that you can get close to it. When I went there wasn’t any water coming out. Box Canyon Trail is a nice easy hike it takes you to the vehicle graveyard. This is a cool spot to look at all the old vehicles that were pushed down the canyon.

Super unique and fun trail. The car ruins are awesome to see along the trail. The greenery is super beautiful. It is a super easy and short hike. It is a must see if you are in the area. It would be great for children.

Do you want to visit th dam? Forget it. It's surrounded by fence and wires. Also, as we are in a drought, they won't let any water out. So the dam is giant slap of dry concrete.

The lake formed by the dam maybe worth visiting. I see people playing on...
