Lake Siskiyou Spini Meadows Trailhead — Attraction in Mount Shasta

What a beautiful walk if your into mountains, lakes, streams, and rivers. Did I mention all the beautiful pines. My wife, puppy and I go there about once a week from the Redding area. The path is easy to follow and bathrooms to boot. Yes more than one. We have not yet around the total lake yet as the bridge over Sacramento river is not up yet. It is an easy walk. Level and the views are splendid. The wagon creek bridge is beautiful as it crosses wagon creek. If you up for a great walk I think you will enjoy this one....

Great hiking trail for all levels. The parking can be crowded early in the day. The start of the trail is surrounded by the lake and there are many wonderful spots to sit, relax and even take a soothing swim in the lake. Beautiful scenery in every direction. If you bring food or picnic by the lake, be warned that there are a lot of big black ants everywhere and they will get into food if not...
