Rusty Rooster Flea Market & Antique Mall — Attraction in Mountain Home

Went into store this afternoon and found a wonderful vintage electric clock. After I had paid cashier handed me receipt but didn't wrap or even bag clock. I then asked if she had something to wrap it with so it wouldn't get scratched. Without even picking up clock from the counter she just put a plastic bag over the clock and said "like that" in a snarky tone. All I can figure it was one of 2 things either I insulted her by asking if that particular vendor allowed a 10% discount (they don't but it never hurts to ask) or it was that I got antsy (but I didn't say anything) while waiting while she checked out the couple in front of me since she had to text a vendor to ask a question and wrap their purchases. Honestly she could have used some help. Or maybe it was that I only spent 25.00 but either way highly doubtful I will ever visit this store again - too many other flea markets to shop where cashiers are friendlier, don't have an attitude and are willing to wrap your treasure to protect it without you...

I went in on a Sunday with only 40 minutes to spare. Trust me when I say THIS IS NOT ENOUGH TIME!!! Lol. In every book and cranny there is something even more exciting than the last item...from Beautiful antique furniture, Glassware, Natural Oils, Homemade products and crafts, Toys from every decade, tools for every project .....it was AMAZING!! and they are Oh SO Friendly!!! They even have a cubby to hold your items...and I mean HOLD. like while you shop and like a layaway. They are careful with purchases, and even offer snacks and coffee while you shop around. I needed more time but still managed to find some items to take back to Wisconsin!!! If you do go, give yourself at least 2 hours ( the place is Huge! ) leave space in your vehicle, and know that THEY DO SHIPPING!! Hahaha This is a Hidden Treasure that shouldn't be...

I was stumped on which artwork to purchase & sought the input of staff. Kimmie is the sweetest, most helpful person I've encountered in a very long time. She gave me her opinion on my selections then went out of her way to show me an additional beautiful print of which I purchased & it fits in beautifully with my Antique/Victorian Living Room Decor. There were other customers in the store & Kimmie made each person feel like they were the most important VIP in the world. I appreciate her & Rusty Rooster so much for making today a delightful...
