Visited again on Saturday 11-16-2024.

The line was long and the wait time was long as well. We were sad and disappointed because we were asked to leave on the last Skyride down at 4:30 p.m. before we could see the sunset at 5:32 p.m. Check out the video below make sure you hit the unmute button to listen.

To: Management will you accommodate your annual customers with the Membership to continue to see the sunset and ride the last Skyride down at 6:30 p.m. on the weekend? That's only professional and equitable.

11-13-2024 Skyride closed again.🙁 Weekday The Skyride has been difficult to ride up recently due to the fact that they are building for the new Christmas event. I hold a yearly membership and I enjoy watching the sunset from the Mountaintop. But because of this event, it will stop me and others with yearly membership of riding the Skyride up after 4 :00 pm, to watch the sunset until January 2025. This is what I have been told from there Customer Service. See at online at stonemountainpark.com

My review is based on the lack of info provided at the gate and website about the attraction being closed. The first day is happened, staff at the attractions booth was friendly and gave info on the fact that both the sky ride and the train were closed. Though disappointed that it was closed we enjoyed the rest of the park. On the second day, we returned and asked at the front gate before entering about the sky ride being open. We were told yes, and that' why we decided to pay to enter. Infortunately the ride was actually closed. the staff member this time, seemed like she did not want to be there. I appreciated the first staff member but there also seems to be a lack of consistency in customer service. Suggested: update google and website for attraction closures within the park so visitors are able to plan their trip accordingly. The park itself is beautiful and...

I really enjoyed the sky ride with my teens. It's $20 a person to go up the mountain. $15 a person if you go up and walk back down. The driver of the sky ride makes it very pleasant by telling you the history of the mountain. It was absolutely breathtaking. Once we got to the top. There's a small place for you to get popcorn, drinks or ice cream. Of course it's very pricey, but if you feel like splurgeon they have it. They also have restrooms at the bottom and top. The ride is only 3 minutes long so it's not long enough for you to get too scared. The ride also is very smooth. We enjoyed ourselves a great deal. You can stay as long as you want to the top or as short as you want. A sky Ride goes up and down every...
