Summit Skyride — Attraction in Mountain Park

I think it is a bit overpriced. The line is very long, the ride up is short with limited view because of the amount of people packed into the sky Ride. I think the price should be no more then $10 rt. You would at least think it should be included in an activity pass, but this is purchased and marketed completely separately. I don't think it's worth it, and once is definitely enough

Tips! Purchase your tickets in advance, I think that have you avoid the super long line at the ticket window. I think in all I waited about an hour total. This was about 45 minutes in line to purchase tix and another 15 waiting to get on the skyride. Bring your own snacks or drinks. They do have places to buy snacks at the bottom and at the top of Stone Mountain. Try to go on a day when it is not raining, the rock is very slippery to climb and or maneuver when it is wet. Bathrooms are at the top and the bottom of Stone Mountain as well, if that is helpful...

5 stars here 10/19/2024 Visited throughout September-October of 2024 during the week and weekend. The Best time to go to enjoy Sunset is on Saturday because the last Skyride goes down at 8:30 pm for now. And they have the Laser Show and fireworks.

Rhonda at the Skyride is super friendly, professional, and always will to help. Security officers on top of the mountain are friendly and are present for your assistance.

The summit is beautiful, with nice view of Atlanta and the nature around the national park. The ride is short but nice. The price may be a little high if not bundled with other events. In their bundles when there are events it is reasonable. It is a little deceiving in some seasons that it closes too early and you may not be able to enjoy the sunset (which is usually great seen from there) and return with the cable car. My main problem was with the ticket sale system. There was a huge line when I went there. You could buy it online but you still need to take the same line to get the physical ticket, so no advantage for time saving to buy online. It is really strange this procedure,...
