We rode the Santa 80 min train which was ok. Not a very scenic ride. Wish there was more entertainment for the kids since it was a Santa train we thought there would be more interaction. Santa came through very quickly once and that was it. No other entertainment was provided. No snacks or beverages are available. No gift-shop either. The kids were bored very quickly. We sat in first class which is not bad it could be cleaner. The bathroom was out of order so you had to walk pretty far to use the bathroom. Just wish you got more for what we paid for we spent $150 for just a round trip with very little to see and no entertainment. We literally sat on our phones and used the iPad for our little one and that was more entertaining than the train ride. Read moreMe and my husband love trains (well, I like trains and my husband LOVES trains). ;) He especially loves the 2102. This railroad is truly top-notch. Not only is this a wonderful railroad, but the people who work here are magnificent, too. I'd love to give Russ Scianna a shout-out. He truly goes above and beyond every single day. His hard work and knowledge is evident and his cheery disposition is contagious. You can just tell how much he loves what he does for a living. His narrations on the train are AWESOME (and hilarious, too!) Our family absolutely always has a fun time when at this railroad. Thanks Russ, and thanks to all the other wonderful folks that make the experience a remarkable one. You help to create wonderful, lasting memories for lots and lots of families, so thank you for that. Keep it up, and keep being you!...

The car was very nice and padded seats were pretty comfortable even for the 3.5 hour trip. The view was amazing the entire trip. Just beautiful with trees and water- I saw a couple of herons. Snacks were available. We also took the trip back. Was able to leave a sweatshirt on our seats in between trips as train was locked which really helped identify our seat once the backs of the seats were turned for trip back. Most people could not figure out where there seats were on return which was mildly irritating for some but most people just went with the flow of...
