This is a neat place. It was our first time there and the staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was busy and every table was full. They accept walk-ins if you are just painting. You do need a reservation for a large party, or things like pottery classes. It's kid friendly and many people had younger children with them so it was noisy. There are a variety of pottery pieces to choose from, such as ornaments and small statues to bigger cups, bowls, plates, etc. The prices did seem a little high, but everything is included, like paint, brushes, etc. My husband and I each painted a mug and each piece was $28. After you are done painting they apply a clear glaze and put it in the kiln. They will call you in about a week to pick up your work. Overall it's a fun experience and a pleasant way to spend a winter afternoon.

Made in Muncie is one of my favorite places to visit! I love all the workshops they offer and it’s always fun to just pop in with friends and make projects. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Rachel for just being awesome. Her workshops are so much fun and super easy to follow. She allows one’s creativity to shine and encourages one to take projects in a different direction. I highly recommend everyone take a workshop with Rachel! Thanks for such a fun spot, Made in Muncie!

I come in here every once in a while to paint pottery and always really enjoy it. For all the materials, endless time, and a beautifully finished product, I feel that the prices are very fair. Even though you have an idea of what your finished product may look like once glazed, I always find the anticipation to see the final product fun. The last time I went with friends, so here are the pictures from that.

We visited Made in Muncie Pottery for the first time on Saturday with my two girls, plus my daughter’s friend and her mom, and we had such a wonderful experience! The staff was so welcoming and helpful, and they really made it fun for the kids. Once the girls finished painting their pieces, the team even put them to work with little jobs so us moms could finish ours—such a thoughtful touch!

The whole experience was relaxing, creative, and a ton of fun. We loved getting to pick out our pieces and bring them to life with paint. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back, and everyone there was fabulous to work with.

We can’t wait to see how our creations turn out after firing, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for families, friends, or anyone looking for a fun and unique...

A wonderful experience for families, groups, parties or just alone time. No experience needed, anyone can make something to be proud of at the Artist Within. No matter how often you go there is always something different to create. The staff is very helpful, willing to teach you how to make your project look professional and have loads of patients with beginners especially young children. Need a unique, personalized gift or an idea for a shower, birthday party or other special event? Try the Artist Within. No, I don't work there. Its just my favorite place to take my nieces and inephews, meet my friends, take classes and the first place I take out of town visitors. Definitely one of Muncies greatest jewels, if you haven't been there check it out. You can even do your special occasion shopping from...
