I got chicken wings, and fries. The chicken wings were buffalo, but their sauce is not normal. The smell of it was apparently some Sriracha is what I was told that is added, but it made me lose my appetite completely. The wings were cooked well but the sauce made them inedible for me. The guy that waited on me seemed nervous the whole time so I don’t know if it’s just a bad environment to work in or not doing great business. I wasn’t asked how the food was, but was asked when I wasn’t eating if I would like a box. When I told them I did not want a box to take it, it was not good to me, I was given a discount, but that was the only resolution offered. I was not in an arguing mood so I took it paid and moved on with my day. They offer fries in Duck fat, but I was told that this would not enhance the flavor at all which is funny because I know Duck fat is supposed to do that at a very high level so I told them no I don’t want the duck fat if it’s not going to make them taste better. The fries I got were hand cut and would have been amazing, but I lost my appetite and also I think they could’ve done a better job and this is very picky but there was a lot of skin on the fries and some of the fries were just skin so perhaps prepping that to be a little bit more high-quality for the cost. I sat at the bar which was clean, but I was staring at a cluttered back bar that looks like it’s where the office space is. Just not a whole lot to look at. Without The discount it would’ve been at least 30 including the tip for just me. It was really the worst experience for the price points and the environment and the service...

Came in for lunch a little afternoon 12 on a Saturday. Neat little place in downtown Muncie with a wooden / cabin look. It's off a 1-way street that offers the parking for the establishment.

Restaurant has 2 entrances, 1 that goes directly into their bar area and a 2nd as a family entrance into their family dining portion of the restaurant. Our server, Ruby (?), was very pleasant and attentive. We ordered the pickle spears as an app, which had a unique semi-thick & sweet breading to them. They claim it's simply from their beer batter. Not my favorite, but not bad. My wife ordered a spinach salad with goat cheese and a tomato soup that she very much enjoyed. I ordered their Blue Meanie special which was a bleu cheese & mushroom burger. Their burgers are smashed, which also isn't my favorite, but it's alright. I did like the fries that came with the sandwich as they were basically a home-cut style.

Only real negative was that it seemed to take a decent while for our lunch to come out, but otherwise all good. I would return to...

I hate writing a review like this because I want to love TA. I'm the demo. I spend most of my money locally. Heck, I like the food and beer selection here. But after giving Twin Archer three tries, I just can't go back. I've done dinner twice and brunch once. And I have to tell you, the service is so bad. So, so very bad. At first I thought it was a staffing issue, but we didn't go when it was crowded on any of the occasions. And this last time, we sat near everyone else, so anyone could have asked us if we wanted another beer or something. But nope. We got seated, asked what we wanted, food brought out, and then the check brought out. No refills on tea. No asking me if I wanted another beer. Again, the food here is good. The beer selection is good. But after three times of just never being checked in on for the basics of a meal, I can't go back. 50 bucks for an app, a salad, and a Cuban sandwich is a little much anyway. But if the service was better, I'd go back. As it stands, I can't recommend that...

I was in town at the Convention Center and wanted to grab a quick lunch. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. The menu posed traditional bar food. Everything was delish with large portions and not very expensive. I got an entree and appetizer for $25 without tip. It was 3 of us so we tried 6 different items. The fried cauliflower was surprisingly fantastic. We had buffalo and blue cheese on the side and both sauces had good flavor. We tried the hummus platter and it was tasty..veggies were fresh and crisp. We had 1/2lb of wings for $7 that was literally 2 whole wings separated and served as 4 wings. They had good flavor, but that is expensive by my standards. For entrees, we had the philly cheesesteak, smokehouse burger and blt sandwich. All came with a ton of fries. The bacon was so crispy and flavorful. Overall everything dynamic.

I’m only sorry it took us four years of our son going to school here for us to find this place but happy we still have two more years to enjoy it. I’m not exaggerating when I saw it’s the best meal I’ve had in years. Everything is homemade and made from scratch. Everything. For example, they make their bbq sauce from peaches and it’s amazing. The pickle their own pickles… you get the idea. It’s not a huge place but they will hold a table for parties of 5 or more if you call in advance. They have a bar side and a family side. Oh!! AND save room for the $4 giant piece of peanut butter pie! Or you could split it. The prices are also wonderful!! Can’t say enough good things. The service was superb. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

What a hidden gem in Muncie! Great atmosphere, great food, and very friendly service. I went in with my teen. I had the tenderloin, she had the 5 cheese melt on sourdough, and we split an order of onion rings. The tenderloin, which they hand bread in-house, was everything you want in one. It was thin and crispy, while still being tender. One of the best I've had! The onion rings are hand dipped to order, and were amazing as well! We took home about 2/3 of the food to enjoy later, as the servings were HUGE. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. We'll definitely be back.
