Smoke Token Smoke Shop — Attraction in Murfreesboro

Recently I paid a visit to the fine gentlefolk at Super Smoke Token, my favorite local headshop. Respected scholars and purveyors of all things glass, I hoped they could help me in my search for a new pipe. Having gotten a large part of my collection from their store, I was very hopeful and excited at the prospect of finally ending my search here. I was waited on by Doyle, a noble Knight of the Order of the Borosilicate. Armed with a formidable knowledge of glass and the palpable desire to provide unmatched customer service, we set out to find the perfect new addition to my family. High and low we searched; from impossibly small pendant rigs to monstrous beakers that scraped the sky! Suddenly there was a change in the winds, and I thought I heard trumpets calling from on high. The clouds split asunder and a shaft of fluorescent light shone through. I directed my gaze to the singular point that the shaft illuminated. Sitting there, perched atop a crystalline shelf was a hand pipe of unspeakable beauty. Awestruck by it's adornment of eye-dazzling reversals in the colors of the sea, and a shape that suggested ancient origins, I stood musing for a while and indulged myself with daydreams of it's seemingly Atlantean conception. This was the one! I knew I must have it for my own. Without a word, I handed Doyle my satchel of gold, for I knew my quest had finally come to a close. With a sense of pride, I watched as Doyle wrapped my new prize in bubble wrap. I thanked him for his service and left the store with a sparkle in my step, ready for a different kind...

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at the Nashville location because of the effort, knowledge, and overall exceptional customer experience. However, it’s painfully obvious that this location operates under different ownership. I hadn’t visited in a while, but since I was driving through, I decided to stop and pick up a pre-roll.

As someone who isn’t an avid smoker, I usually rely on the staff’s expertise to guide me—something the Nashville store excels at. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The associate helping me seemed completely clueless and couldn’t provide any recommendations, even after I showed him pictures and explained what I had been smoking before.

I was then directed to a woman who appeared to be a manager (with a very noticeable sore on her face), only to be told, “We don’t carry the same stuff anymore because we’re under different ownership.” She turned her head mid-conversation while I was asking her a question, which felt unnecessarily dismissive. To make matters worse, the original associate followed me around the store, despite having no helpful input or suggestions.

If you’re looking for genuine customer care and expertise, save yourself the trouble and just go to the Nashville location. The difference is...

Hopper! Man that guy knows his stuff! Told him what I’m looking for what I like. He pointed me to one thing. Got home and tried it out. I have to say this is the best vape I have ever had I didn’t have to mix it. I didn’t wish it was one thing and less of another. It was on point. Thank you so much. Everyone that works at this store is amazing. You walk in the door what can I do to help? Do you need suggestions? They got you on that. Are you looking for something that you can’t find at another store? They got you on that too. Maybe something that they don’t sell guess what they will order it for you. This is by far the best vape shop in Murfreesboro. Hopper didn’t waste my time trying to upsell me. I came in and told him what I wanted, he gave me what I wanted. I walked out the door happy happy happy. And that my friend is why I drive all the way across town to go there.
