I recently had the pleasure of hosting our prom at The Walnut House, and I cannot express enough how absolutely enchanting the experience was. Our chosen theme was a Winter Wonderland, and The Walnut House transformed our vision into a mesmerizing reality.

The attention to detail was impeccable, starting with the breathtaking entrance that set the tone for the evening. The staff at The Walnut House went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our event was executed flawlessly. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were transported into a world of winter magic.

One of the standout features that truly elevated our prom experience was the remarkable AV and dance floor lighting. The lighting design was nothing short of incredible, creating an ambiance that perfectly complemented the winter wonderland theme. The dance floor lighting, in particular, added a dynamic and energetic element to the night, making it impossible for anyone to resist the urge to hit the dance floor.

The use of wall projection equipment was a stroke of genius, bringing the decor to life in ways we hadn't even imagined. The seamless integration of visuals added an extra layer of depth to the entire venue, making every corner a photo-worthy backdrop. It was evident that The Walnut House not only understood our vision but exceeded our expectations in making it a reality.

The staff were not only professional but also genuinely invested in ensuring our event was a success. I just had the pleasure of working with the wonderful staff at the Walnut House in Murfreesboro for a historic satellite event for Maryville College. In my experience of working collegiate events over the last 5 years, the venue and staff at the Walnut House by far exceeded any and all expectations!

First, the venue is phenomenal. It is both classy and accessible, lending its use to a wide variety of event types. While still making us feel important, the event space is comfortable and doesn't risk making guests feel too formal. Also, the Walnut House's ability to utilize state-of-the-art Projection Mapping allowed them to completely transform the space into something that was uniquely fit for our event!

Secondly, the staff is amazing. Ricky Martini worked with me for hours before our event start time to completely transform the space into our collective vision. In the months and weeks approaching the event, he led me on multiple tours of the space, mapping out future possibilities. And despite a 3 hour separation, he was always eager to connect via phone to iron out the small details. His special touch for customer service made the process of securing and preparing the event space a smooth and easy process.

Lastly, their recommendations were fantastic. The Walnut House finds itself in close-knit downtown community. Their experience coordinating events in the greater Nashville area has connected them with some wonderful business. Ricky recommended The Alley on Main and Simply Pure Sweets from the very beginning and his ability to help work through the essence of my event to find the best catering partners was greatly appreciated.

My wife and I had our wedding reception here in November of 2019.

This was the perfect venue and we had roughly 300 people over the course of the evening - almost everyone we came across post-reception told us that our reception was one of the best they had been to and it really was because of the venue.

They were super accommodating, allowing us to bring in our own live band, food/drinks, and decorations. Ricky stayed with us from the time we set up and broke down and made sure we had everything we needed. He was so easy to work with and very professional.

The 360 degree photo wall was beyond our expectations and I highly recommend viewing a demo when you visit. My wife and I had a destination wedding and by having the photo wall, we were able to place photos and videos we had taken during our wedding play on different panels for those enjoying our reception at the Walnut House. This really helped bridge the gap for everyone who couldn't be with us on our wedding day!

I can not recommend this place enough! Ricky and his crew operate one of, if not, the coolest venue I've come across. The Walnut House has such a unique scene that I didn't find at any other wedding...
