I had an amazing stay, and I've stayed in different spots in different states! First of all, the pricing was very fair and definitely the best in the area. I was coming in from NJ, and it was a long road so I called them and told them I'd be late, and they said they'd hold the reservation. They did end up checking on me to make sure I was still coming, which I appreciated. I ended up getting there at almost 5 am. The rooms: very clean, non carpet floors (which means it's GOOD as far as cleanliness goes), and they were so nicely decorated. You could tell the rooms were actually cleaned. I've stayed in hotels where that is questionable. Anyway, it's in a good area and it has been very nice staying here. The guests have been very respectful as well . I spoke with the man who runs this, he's a very knowledgeable guy that really cared about how things are run. I will definitely be recommending this place to family who may come to visit me, I saved a lot of money and I felt like I was staying at a mid-higher end place. It was so comfortable we decided to stay an extra night and they were more than happy to accommodate us pretty last minute on that. So yeah, if you're on the fence and want to keep more money in your pocket, I definitely recommend you stay in this place, which most definitely has people who take great pride in running it. Read moreThis is a big weekend in Murfreesboro with a big concert and wrestling match; I’ve heard. I’m visiting family and only needed a place to sleep for a night. The Rodeway Inn is more than $100 less than our normal place to stay here, so I booked it based on the OK to positive reviews.||It’s very basic, but a fine enough place to stay. No lobby, no breakfast, no pool, outdoor entrances to rooms, etc. It’s an old property, but it’s recently been renovated. There is no carpet in the rooms, but a nice laminated wood floor in the room and tiles in the bathroom which look like wood. The beds are comfortable and I slept well. You can hear some of the road noise, but I’m on the upper, 2nd floor, and heard no noise from other guests. The TV has more channels than I’ve seen in a while and there is the usual small microwave oven and fridge. There is a hanging rack and hangers for clothes, but it’s external, no closet. ||The desk clerk / property manager was very friendly and helpful when I checked in and offered to make space in the tight parking lot if it appeared full when I return after dinner. ||I gave only 3 stars, because it’s only got a guest laundry and nothing else besides the rooms, that I know of. For the cleanliness and comfort of the room it deserves 4 stars. ||I may come back, and hope the same manager is still...
Read moreThis is a budget motel, the room was clean and tidy. The water is hot and stays hot, the water pressure is great, and the bed was comfortable. If this is all you require, this is as good a place as any. I only needed a place to shower and sleep a few hours before getting back on the road.
However, when I called to confirm my reservation while still on the road, there was delay on the other end, then a man yelled and asked why I didn't speak when he answered the phone. Uh, because I didnt hear him. Not very welcoming.
Shower gel/shampoo dispensers were completely empty. Bone dry. The handsoap dispenser did have soap in it
Single serve coffee maker hadn't been cleaned in a while, the water resevoir had dried coffee buildup inside, so I decided to forego.
Front door to main lobby was locked and front desk inside was empty when I checked out at 10 or 10:30am and tried to return my key. Rang the bell outside, as instructed. Rang it again. No verbal response, so don't know if anyone's even coming? A woman appears, buzzes me in, takes my key. That was it.
I'd definitely stay here again for the nominal price, but I don't think I'd "recommend" it to...
