May 14, 2024: Stopped in at Boro Kabob for a late lunch/early dinner yesterday. I ordered the skewer of beef tenderloin platter and added a skewer of lamb on a bed of saffron rice. Seriously...the flavors of this dish are incredible and the rice was perfect. Both the lamb and beef were extremely tender but with a nice char so you could taste the grilling. I would grab a chunk of meat, a piece of purple onion, and a touch of the yogurt sauce 🤤 I love the rice here...lightly flavored and fluffy...just perfect. A great place for authentic Mediterranean dishes and exceptional service!
May 2023: I visited Boro Kabob last year when they had just opened. I decided before I wrote a review I wanted to visit again after they had been opened for a bit. Sadly I forgot about the place until I saw Kyle Zahra at the “Love Your Neighbor” event, I apologized and told him I would be back soon.
Visited for a late lunch today and decided to try the “NEW” item on the menu board…the Meat Shawerma (I did beef, there is a chicken option too). I had a chance to talk with Kyle about the sandwich and he explained how it is a very popular dish and I can see why. The flavors were wonderful, the veggies were crisp, the beef tender, and the pomegranate molasses added an interesting dimension to the sandwich. I’ve never tasted this before but it adds an intense sweet-and-sour flavor, somewhat like a balsamic. There were sauces to dip in (Tahini and “Pink”) but this sandwich was exceptional on its own and needed no help. Loved the grilled wrapper, added a nice texture and crunch to the sandwich. French fries came with the meal and they were really good, crispy, with a nice clean flavor…a solid addition to the meal. I really enjoyed this sandwich, and it’s a lot of GOOD food for the price. I will be going back to try some of the other dishes along with the chicken version of the Shawerma. Service was great and Kyle is a pleasure to talk with. You can see and hear the passion he has for serving up authentic and delicious Middle Eastern foods with a touch of...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Boro Kabob, a Mediterranean gem that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey.
The star of the show was undeniably the kabobs and kofta – each bite bursting with flavor, succulence, and an authentic Mediterranean flair. It's safe to say that this was one of the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of indulging in. The freshness of the ingredients and the expert preparation truly shone through in every dish.
Beyond the exceptional cuisine, I was equally impressed by the cleanliness and impeccable design of the restaurant. The ambiance was both stylish and cozy, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.
What truly sets Boro Kabob apart, however, is its exceptional service. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and attended to with genuine warmth and hospitality. From recommendations to accommodating special requests, their friendliness and professionalism were truly commendable.
In conclusion, my experience at [Restaurant Name] surpassed all expectations, making it one of the highlights of my culinary adventures. If you're craving delicious Mediterranean fare served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Boro Kabob. Highly...
Read moreListen, I consider myself a fairly cultured person when it comes to the different foods offered in the Boro, but I am late to getting here. Better late than never, though.
I ordered the Fire Fries and Combo Kabob platter, which both were fabulous. The fries had some type of curry, which wasn't spicy but had a twinge of heat if that makes any sense. It was FANTASTIC. Then the combo kabob was wonderful. The platter is a basic meats and rice, while having great flavor and is filling.
The kids ordered a shawarma quesadilla and a shawarma wrap. Essentially a Middle Eastern cheeseburger for Americans, with Middle Eastern spices. I highly suggest trying at least once. The oldest kid said she was in heaven while eating it.
The husband got Beef Sultani, which was wonderful as well. The "steak" was juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. He also ordered a bowl of the cucumber sauce - don't skip this, ever. The cucumber sauce is THE RANCH of this food, but it's even better.
I also ordered a Turkish coffee. It tasted like an Earthy Cardamom, which I've realized now may not be my thing. I'd probably try it again.
Over all, the atmosphere looks like something out of Dubai and is very inviting. The young man at the counter was very polite and was helpful. Our food was brought to us fairly quick and was hot. Get in here and...
