May 14, 2024: Stopped in at Boro Kabob for a late lunch/early dinner yesterday. I ordered the skewer of beef tenderloin platter and added a skewer of lamb on a bed of saffron rice. Seriously...the flavors of this dish are incredible and the rice was perfect. Both the lamb and beef were extremely tender but with a nice char so you could taste the grilling. I would grab a chunk of meat, a piece of purple onion, and a touch of the yogurt sauce 🤤 I love the rice here...lightly flavored and fluffy...just perfect. A great place for authentic Mediterranean dishes and exceptional service! May 2023: I visited Boro Kabob last year when they had just opened. I decided before I wrote a review I wanted to visit again after they had been opened for a bit. Sadly I forgot about the place until I saw Kyle Zahra at the “Love Your Neighbor” event, I apologized and told him I would be back soon. Visited for a late lunch today and decided to try the “NEW” item on the menu board…the Meat Shawerma (I did beef, there is a chicken option too). I had a chance to talk with Kyle about the sandwich and he explained how it is a very popular dish and I can see why. The flavors were wonderful, the veggies were crisp, the beef tender, and the pomegranate molasses added an interesting dimension to the sandwich. I’ve never tasted this before but it adds an intense sweet-and-sour flavor, somewhat like a balsamic. There were sauces to dip in (Tahini and “Pink”) but this sandwich was exceptional on its own and needed no help. Loved the grilled wrapper, added a nice texture and crunch to the sandwich. French fries came with the meal and they were really good, crispy, with a nice clean flavor…a solid addition to the meal. I really enjoyed this sandwich, and it’s a lot of GOOD food for the price. I will be going back to try some of the other dishes along with the chicken version of the Shawerma. Service was great and Kyle is a pleasure to talk with. You can see and hear the passion he has for serving up authentic and delicious Middle Eastern foods with a touch of his own flair!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Boro Kabob, a Mediterranean gem that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. The star of the show was undeniably the kabobs and kofta – each bite bursting with flavor, succulence, and an authentic Mediterranean flair. It's safe to say that this was one of the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of indulging in. The freshness of the ingredients and the expert preparation truly shone through in every dish. Beyond the exceptional cuisine, I was equally impressed by the cleanliness and impeccable design of the restaurant. The ambiance was both stylish and cozy, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. What truly sets Boro Kabob apart, however, is its exceptional service. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and attended to with genuine warmth and hospitality. From recommendations to accommodating special requests, their friendliness and professionalism were truly commendable. In conclusion, my experience at [Restaurant Name] surpassed all expectations, making it one of the highlights of my culinary adventures. If you're craving delicious Mediterranean fare served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Boro Kabob. Highly recommended!

Listen, I consider myself a fairly cultured person when it comes to the different foods offered in the Boro, but I am late to getting here. Better late than never, though. I ordered the Fire Fries and Combo Kabob platter, which both were fabulous. The fries had some type of curry, which wasn't spicy but had a twinge of heat if that makes any sense. It was FANTASTIC. Then the combo kabob was wonderful. The platter is a basic meats and rice, while having great flavor and is filling. The kids ordered a shawarma quesadilla and a shawarma wrap. Essentially a Middle Eastern cheeseburger for Americans, with Middle Eastern spices. I highly suggest trying at least once. The oldest kid said she was in heaven while eating it. The husband got Beef Sultani, which was wonderful as well. The "steak" was juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. He also ordered a bowl of the cucumber sauce - don't skip this, ever. The cucumber sauce is THE RANCH of this food, but it's even better. I also ordered a Turkish coffee. It tasted like an Earthy Cardamom, which I've realized now may not be my thing. I'd probably try it again. Over all, the atmosphere looks like something out of Dubai and is very inviting. The young man at the counter was very polite and was helpful. Our food was brought to us fairly quick and was hot. Get in here and get this food.

Boro Kabob has potentially the very best Mediterranean food that I've ever tasted. The atmosphere is easy going, the food was ready quickly, it was perfectly cooked, portions were solid(mine was the perfect size to fully fill me up, but my parents had leftovers), and it was full of flavor(s) that are distinguished and yet also blended as well as complemented each other perfectly rather than anything being overpowering. I love Mediterranean food in general and usually find it to be absolutely delicious, but Boro Kabob majorly stands out in a way that I can't do justice to with this review. I'd read all of the stellar shining reviews, and even so I was still astonished when I took my first bite. I can't speak for all of the items we got because I didn't try them all, but the beef shawarma wraps and lamb kabob were PHENOMENAL. I've genuinely never had better, or even close, from anywhere else. I wish I'd had room to try a lot more of the menu items because I can only imagine that all of it is at least just as good. I'd recommend ignoring the negative comments, and especially from within the last half year or so. As far as I can tell they're all from people excessively nitpicking and that had misguided expectations that could have only been disappointed.

This is hands down my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in town! Every dish is made with so much love and passion. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out. My favorite is the Kabob Platter with rice, always with a side of the delicious white bean stew. I took my friend visiting from North Carolina, and she’s still raving about the lotus cake and chicken shawarma! They also offer catering, which is perfect for events, and they feature a different main dish every Friday, so there’s always something new and exciting to try! Here’s how I’d rate some of my favorites: Beef Kabob Platter: 10/10 Kabob Wrap: 8/10 Stuffed Grape Leaves: 9/10 Lentil Soup: 10/10 Chicken Shawarma: 9/10 White Bean Stew: 10/10 Chicken Shish Tawuk Platter: 10/10 Cilantro Hummus: 8/10 Tomato and Habanero Hummus: 10/10 Boro Chicken Bowl: 7/10 Turkish Coffee: 10/10 Hot Black Tea: 10/10 Biscoff Lotus Cake: 6/10 Dubai Chocolate: 4/10 The service is always excellent, and the restaurant is super clean, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a great meal, this is the spot!

Stopped in here for the first time for an impromptu Friday night dinner out. The place has been on our radar for a while (we’re new in town) and we were not disappointed. Super friendly owner and staff and is local-family owned. The first thing I look for in Mediterranean is some type of veggie combo because there are so many veggie items that I like. I’ll usually add some protein a la carte. As such, I ordered the veggie combo and added a chicken kabob. The wife ordered the chicken kabob platter and a shirazi salad. The food was excellent with nice tabletop presentation. All of the side dishes were first rate. Portion size was average with exception of the kabobs. The kebabs were actually larger than average, cooked to perfection, and delicious. The baklava for dessert will make your mouth water. My only suggestion menu-wise would be to add fresh brewed iced tea. But the bottled drink selection was adequate, definitely not a deal breaker. We’ve had a lot of Med food over the years from coast to coast and Boro Kabob will be our go-to from here on out. They’re the real deal!
