I had the worst experience at this Aldi. I walked in the store and disinfected my basket as I often do. When I finished shopping my order and walked to the checkout line I informed the cashier (Nick) that I would be using the same basket for him to load my items. He acknowledged I said it and I finished loading my items on the conveyor. Once I was done and walked up to the register I noticed he put my items in a different basket that wasnât disinfected. I reminded him that I told him Iâd like to use the same basket and his response to me was âno disrespect but I donât have time for thatâ. I was blown away by that response as there wasnât anyone behind me and the store was pretty empty. He told me I can just load them myself. This is not OK. He denied me my right to remain using the cart I disinfected. Iâve been doing this ever since Covid because I have an elderly father who gets very sick so easily and anytime he even gets anything even as small as a cold he is hospitalized. I was going to meet him after leaving the store to take him to his doctor appointment. I shouldnât even have to disclose medical Information as to why Iâm requesting to use the same basket. The whole point in having the sanitizing wipes at the door when you walk in is so the customer can so itinerary the basket. Why would I be denied my right to do so.? When I asked for a manager Nick told me ok but you will be waiting awhile. After about 1 minute he grabbed a lady walking by and pointed her in my direction. I told her what happened and she apologized and then I asked her if she was the general manager and she said no but she would see if they were in. So I continued to wait. Then Nick yells across the store to me and says â you may as well leave because it will be whileâ. At this point this is inane to be treated this way. The manager walked out of the office maybe 2 mins after she went to grab him. I told him what happened while Nick was smirking the enter time. I asked if he was the general Magee because I wanted to do a formal complaint in writing and he informed me he was the District Manager and his name was Cody. Cody told me I can call the phone number on my receipt to talk to customer care about a formal complaint and then he walked right back into that office without saying anything to the cashier Nick. This was all so unbelievable. When I spoke with customer care they gave me a case number and said they will investigate and send this to the district Manager: I told her I hope that isnât Cosy because he was there and never said anything to the cashier. So I was told she would send it up the chain to the director of operations. I sure hope this happens because you really shouldnât treat people this way. I did nothing wrong to deserve...

I placed an order early this morning and was given a pickup time for 10-11am. As soon as they accepted the order, they sent me an e-mail (seconds after my order confirmation) that my order is going to be delayed. It's now past 1pm, and they JUST NOW sent me a text saying that my order pickup time has been pushed back to 11am-12pm today??? And there doesn't seem to be a way for me to cancel the order so I can shop somewhere else for these things. I now have to improvise a late lunch for my kids, and who knows if we'll get our groceries before lunch tomorrow.
I gave them 2 stars because their prices seem fair; unfortunately, they lost 3 stars due to inconvenience, not providing services as promised, and because (for all I know) the quality of the food may or may not be lower than what we'd usually get.
Maybe they're just having an off day or something, as other people seem pretty happy. Or maybe they just suffer in the grocery pickup department, but thus far my family is having a terrible first experience...
Read moreThe customer service here is disgusting. Theyâre lazy cashiers who sit all day long and throw your items into your cart and donât even offer you a bag that you pay for lol. Like this isnât costco?? Theyâre so rude especially the lady working night shift on 11/19/23. Threw my items into my cart said three words to me when i asked for a bag she was so rude about it like i was being a burden even though I bought multiple small items i wasnât going to just throw in my trunk. They need to do something about this and hire hard working people who donât sit all shift long. The prices arenât even that different compared to other grocery stores like trader joeâs, staters, albertsons etc. with friendly employees and cashiers. Iâve had better experiences at the arco...
