Waffle & Pancake House — Restaurant in Muscatine

This has to be one of the most accommodating restaurants I've been to. A group of friends were here in town after a wedding and the place was packed. We had a party of 7 and a baby. You could see the owner working nonstop and when we walked in we were sure it was going to be a while before we would be sat. The owner not only got us a table within 20-30 minutes, but he brought out a table to make sure we had all the space we needed. I'm kicking myself for not remembering the name of the waitress, but she was also fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed even though the place was packed. The food was great as well and very affordable. I recommend the skillets! If I happen to be in the area again, I'll be sure to drop by. Can't recommend this...

We werent planning on stopping for breakfast this morning but something here called our name. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. We were seated right away and handed a couple menus to browse. I went with the 2 egg breakfast with meat, sausage of course, add hashbrowns for $1.75, and a glass of orange juice to wash it down. Our breakfast was on the table in no time! For as busy as it was at the time, the wait was minimal. Went up to pay and the man behind the register was Tony, the owner. Great little breakfast place you have! Would highly recommend and we hope to be back the next time we are in town...

Our first time here and we will be back next time we are in the area! The service was top notch! The food was delicious! We had a large group and a bit of a wait….but the staff continuously checked in with us letting us know how much longer it would be and the icing on the cake was that they served us coffee while we waited. Such a small thing that felt like a really big deal and was very much appreciated! They were very busy and were also serving those waiting to be sat.
