Weed Park Maintenance Shop — Attraction in Muscatine

At the moment I'm writing this, they're doing something with the pond so you can't go fishing! But usually I take the kids (8 and 6) fishing for the fun of it. And after that we usually go to either of the parks, usually the big one, but either way. The park is clean, and I have indeed gone Pokemon go hunting with my significant other before! The park is usually clean, but I hate that they cut down the big tree. That used to be my favorite spot to sit to watch the kids. But either way, I can't do much about it. Now the water park, or the "Muscatine Aquatic Center" is ok. I'm disappointed in their menu compared to what it used to be, but it's a pretty good water park. There's a kid area, diving board, two drop offs, a small red slide you can ride with 4 other people, and 2 normal slides my kids like to race down. There also is just a big body of water in the deeper end, and a nice hill to tan on. They also have an adult swim so adults can get in the water without getting splashed by their children while you let them eat their popsicles on their towels. A spacious city park with a large rose garden, a multi-tiered pond, an oversized playground area, and the most popular site on this 90+ degree day… an absolutely wonderful looking pool and aquatic center.

There were at least a couple of things that kept me from giving this place more stars…. As I was eating my lunch here, two young ladies approached asking for money. It seems like most cities have cracked down on panhandling. Apparently not this one. Also, as someone with limited mobility, I was disappointed to see how inaccessible most of this park is. This is a great Park if you like to view nature , walk Trails, bike ride or have a cookout with family . it has a swimming pool and a tennis court as well . A Very well-maintained Park . The only reason that I gave this four stars instead of 5 is because the lack of actual Park toys for kids . when I was younger the park was just filled with Park toys like swings, Jungle Jim's , merry-go-rounds it was freaking awesome! now there's almost no real Park toys . there is one area for really little kids which is very nice but that's it .
