Muscatine Aquatic Center — Local services in Muscatine

We had lots of fun july 5 on our visit to the aquatic center. My great granddaughter had so much fun, the only complaint i am going to make n i think everyone that goes there is ,,,, u dont have enough chairs, ur faciity is large , n mostly family n some older people have bad backs ,,, such as my sidter n i,,, shes had 3 back operations and cannot stand very long, n all of the few chairs u had were taken, so that would be something for you to invedt in,,, but we did like the wall seat in the pool, that was very nice,, coz getting up off the ground with bad backs, (n bad knees),,is so difficult,, thx again for a wonderful day,, n ur prices are awesome, thx, seating n shade are a big deal, unless u let us bring in my own...

it's a great park. never crowded. good genre of music. no fighting the lifeguards have attitude. I have been several times and I was allowed to step out on to parking lot to smoke as I seen others too . I understand the on facility inside the fence and I have always been allowed back in or was given a piece of paper. this time I was told I wasn't allowed to go out of the facility without paying to get back in I understand smoking inside the area where families are. but u should be allowed to step out for your own business .not pay again.

I do understand and respect Everytime why I asked for a stamp or proof I had been in cause that's how it always has been but to tell me I can't and have to pay again ....

This could be a nice facility with a few changes. They are a cash/check only facility but didn't have change for my total of $22 paid for with two 20's. Fortunately my daughter's friend had a couple bucks on her so we were able to get in.

The hours posted are not accurate. It's posted 12-8 but they close at 3:45 everyday for 30 minutes. That would have been helpful to know before arriving at 335 with excited kids.

Cleanliness is also an issue. The trash outside the facility was beyond full. The drinking fountain was disgusting with calcium and mineral deposits all over as well as bird droppings. It's clear it hasn't been...
