Krave Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Muscatine

Not sure if the food is good but I know the service is poor. Went with a friend a few weeks ago and the couple in front of us were sat and then when it came time for us to be sat we were told "you know there's seating in the back right" and we walked to the back ourselves. We then sat for a while probably 20 minutes without menus, silverware or drinks. A young male server then came and sat someone right next to us and served them immediately. So we decided not to make a fuss and just get up and leave. My friend did message on Facebook to let you know but I think it's probably best I let the experience be known. Skip Karaoke here. Some dude was stopped mid song so some chick important to the bartender or owner could get up for her song early. The last group waited to do their song because the DJ said they would be the last song but nope, the bartender said the chick skipping the line was gonna close out the night. I go to karaoke often at a lot of places and this was the worst imo. Imagine being stopped mid song so someone else could get their turn early lol. Very embarrassing for krave, definitely...

Where to even start?! The food is so good and seasoned to perfection. The jerk chicken as well as the fried catfish fillets were so flavorful, hot and fresh. For sides we had the cabbage, red beans & rice and mashed potatoes. Corn bread also comes with. Everything was delicious. I will dream about that cabbage until we come back and it will definitely be soon! Love having something...
