Food Lion — Attraction in Myrtle Beach

I often shop at this Food Lion location and love the Customer Service I receive, the discounts, and the superior products they carry. I want to thank two employees in particular for their excellent Customer Service and going above and beyond. First, Megan has taken care of me several times, and she always has a positive, bubbly personality; she makes excellent eye contact and smiles a lot! Megan makes me feel valued as a customer. I noticed her last night bringing carts back into the store from the parking lot. She is a real go-getter, and I appreciate people like Megan. I met Brittany this evening, the Night Manager, whose personality matched that of Megan. I had an issue with a purchase, and Brittany was kind, courteous, cordial, and professional in her mannerism. She took such great care of me; my head is still spinning. I love this store, its management, and its employees, particularly the two mentioned in this review. They both went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and gave me a "WOW" experience. Thank you for have such dedicated, kind, professional people in your employ. This Food Lion near Market Commons is absolutely fantastic!! I only go grocery shopping there especially now with the online MVP coupons! I have saved over $300.00 in MVP savings in only two months! Also the employees especially the all year around ladies are wonderful! They remember who you are, always greeting people with a friendly smile, always around to help customers, PLUS even the management will jump on a register to cash customers out when it's overwhelmingly busy! The stores not only always sparkling clean, but they make sure items are stocked up especially sale items, the aisle are set up in such a convenient way with items, signing, and organized it makes for a great easy stress free shopping experience! This has been my Food Lion for over twenty years. Pros, ....Super Clean, Stocked to the ceiling, no long wait times in lines, Super friendly staff. Cons.....A bit to friendly, can rub off as fake or caddy, employees conjugate outside in front to smoke. I feel as tho though smoking should take place in a more exclusive area out of customers line of sight. It's kind of the first thing you see when you approach the entrance. Compared to other Food Lions I feel as though this Food Lion is The bougie grocery store, while their sister store on 13th. AVE S. is the ghetto hood store, hence the armed security.
