I wasnt sure what to expect, honestly thought it would be just another playground with its usual sets of play but I was very surprised at how it really does have something for EVERYONE. I played with my kids more in the 3 hours we were there than at any other playground we have ever been to and we have been to many in different states. This playground is what I call a gem. If you have any doubts dont, you wont be sorry. If your hot theres also a cold water fountain with clean and delicious water and the bathrooms were alot better than expected. Also if you want to cool off one of the play areas has a button for mist, super awesome. The music area is great. Theres an area for every age group!! If you plan on going for a walk around the lake take some food to feed the ducks and abundant turtles from the bridge, you get a better view from there. The stretch/excercise kiosks throughout the walk around the lake were such a nice touch never seen something like that before. I could sit here for another hour and tell you everything I loved about it but theres no better way to experience it other than going and experiencing it yourselves. So if you live in the area and have not gone, you are missing out. If you're visiting and looking for something to do with your kids this is definitely a wonderful place. It was worth the 45 minute drive for me. If I could give it 100...
Read moreWonderful space for inclusive play. Plenty of swings and a plethora of activities to keep droves of children entertained for more than an hour without doing the same thing twice.
Constructively, I would recommend a few minor improvements.
A few items were broken, but that is expected with heavy use.
The lines for the restroom were a bit excessive for the amount of traffic, especially when so many visitors have accessibility and needs that are beyond normal toileting needs and uses (i.e. adult diapers, sensory avoidant meltdowns, accident clean-up, ostomy bags, etc.)
I understand the environmental reasons, but the loud blowing hand dryers are not the best in spaces that are intended to be sensory inclusive/safe. Conversely, BLESS YOU for not having auto-flushing toilets!!
Thank you for creating and maintaining such a wonderful place, and we look forward to our...
Read moreIt's not just one of the biggest in Myrtle Beach it's surpasses the Grand Park and any other Park regionally. It boasts a wide range of kids ages to entertain and has more than enough equipment to keep even multiple bus loads of busy bodies busy (say that five times fast). We're talking state-of-the-art equipment and two story plus jungle gyms. There are a couple of tractions where you will have to wait in line. But usually, the chaperoning parents will keep the lines moving rather fast. So your typically waiting 5 minutes or less. But don't let that stop you or deter you. It's no underestimate to say there's plenty of other things to do, kids to see and energy to be exerted. It's located in the market common district which is an incredibly nice area. So don't just make this one a stop, make it a...
