Frontier Park — Attraction in Naperville

One word : HUGE I live near the park and go there regularly. This park is huge. Plenty of space for playing football (soccer) i believe there are multiple soccer fields. . There are 2 separate play areas for kids at each end of the park with separate fixtures for younger kids and well as for kids 5+. there is a skateboard arena as well as tennis and basketball court and baseball ground. I go there for cycling and there are long trails for people to jog and cycle. the park cycling train is part of a longer cycling trail going upto dupage river on east and tall grass park on west. Washrooms are clean and there is few vending machines near picnic area with water/gatorade etc as well. there is a kids movie night sometimes on the eastern end of the park. I am an umpire who officiates girls softball there. They have 6 fields on the south area and two more fields to the north of the main parking lot. Most of the fields have lights for night time play, only the north fields #7 & 8 do not. There is a Thor-guard weather warning system set up and if it goes off all sports activities must cease immediately, for the safety of all in the park. There is also a building between fields 3 & 6 which is a full functioning ladies & men's washroom facility, not a portapotie setup. They really updated recently. I used to remember this park as nothing special but I went recently to see a play by Naperville's Summer Place Theatre and found a gorgeous, all age friendly park. There is a splash pad, a small stadium, a gorgeous play ground, and even public showers in the bathroom. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN PUBLIC SHOWERS?! SO COOL! I love the atmosphere change they created with these unique updates to this park. Can recommend for your next picnic or family outing.
