Edit 15.8.19- I had to give Oberweis another shot and this time the flavors worked just right to make my day.

Black Raspberry with Chocolate Chunks; the sweetness of Raspberry Ice-cream with Bittersweet Chocolate chunks tickled all my taste buds.

I'd also like to mention their exceptional customer service. Besides, kids are very well taken care of; You can find Games, Colors, Coloring pages too. My 4 years old loves their signature balloon.

The fact that Most people heading in with the Milk bottles either to return or to refill proves how famous is their milk as well as other dairy products.

Few uncommon flavors like Blueberry Pie, Brandy, Mango Pomegranate. I chose Pistachio Ice cream however, it was a sheer disappointment!

The Pistachio Chunks in the ice cream tasted bitter I simply couldn’t take another bite & eventually dumped it, plus the Cone wasn’t fresh at all, it was soggy as opposed to what they claim their cones to be. May be not my day!

I visited the Oberweis location in South Naperville with my family to enjoy a banana split. I had a specific custom order due to dietary restrictions and made it a point to ask the person taking the order upfront if it could be made as requested. I mentioned that if it couldn't be done, I’d happily order something else instead. The employee assured me it wasn’t a problem and that the order could be customized.

However, when the banana split was brought out by another employee named "David" it had all the toppings we specifically asked to leave out. When I brought this up, David was dismissive and rude, stating that they don’t customize banana splits.

What’s even more frustrating is that just 10 days earlier, a manager at this same location had no problem accommodating our request and even served the toppings on the side.

Also, during the order, David was standing right next to the person who took it, so when I asked him why it was accepted in the first place he replied " That guy don’t even work at Oberweis." This was extremely confusing and unprofessional.

This experience left a bad impression, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. I’m also not entirely sure if the names I was given are accurate, as none of the staff seemed to...
