A friend and I came to Natchez to escape the chaos and noise of life and looked forward to seeing the matinee to get a flavor of the city. It was obvious when we drove up that the theater is a very small production with probably little to no funds to operate on. But I was impressed to see that the theater and facilities were clean and well staffed. The ticket taker was pleasant. The stage setting was adequate to convey the story. The actors knew their lines and did well. My very low rating is because the story was a terribly written, agenda driven mess that hidden behind a comedy title. I've have seen several small theater productions but this is the first time that I've walked away from one disappointed. Not in potential of the theater but instead, in their extreme lack of knowledge for what the tourist that they advertise to...
