I stopped in before they closed to get takeout. I wanted to try the Honey Pecan Brussel Sprouts and the Croissant Beignets. I had stopped earlier in the week but they were closed. So, I made it a point to swing back by before I left town. Glad I did because both dishes were delightful. The Brussel Sprouts may be the best I've had thus far. Sprinkle some bacon on there and it would be heaven. Lol The beignets were crisp and flaky and covered in delicious chocolate. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be sure to go back and get a whole meal as I'm sure their other selections are just as tasty. I parked around the corner in the lot by the river as most spots nearby were taken. It's not a long walk from there at all. Also, they have indoor and outdoor seating and a nice bar. If you're in the area before 2pm. Stop on by and get some brunch. FYI - the pictures do not do the food justice. It's yummy!!

This has always been one of our favorite spots for brunch! Last two visits we noticed they were understaffed- sat at uncleared tables, food arrived before silverware and waited for refills - both times. However, we kept coming because the food was that good! However, today we noticed the avocado toast (which had less avocado than usual) had been doused a little too heavy with balsamic leaving it soggy and it lacked its usual flavor and the music was on and off throughout the meal interrupting the ambiance. The restaurant did maintain its star- the yogurt granola parfait - with whipped yogurt so perfectly it tastes like a sweet cloud of goodness drizzled with honey and fresh fruit.

The menu looks good and with the reviews I was thrilled to go. It is in a great spot downtown, I sat outside, everything was fine. We ordered two brisket sandwiches. One to be meat only, one to have everything. It took a bit to get our food. I started to eat the rock hard fries, then server came over to say that wasn't our food, they took it away. We waited a bit more, never asked for refills on drinks or checked on. Food came fries were so limp, like wet shoe laces on a plate. One sandwich that should be meat only, had salsa on it. One sandwich that should have everything; had two halves of cherry tomatoes on the whole sandwich, no gouda cheese, and no caramelized onions. The salsa that came on it was a spread, rather then salsa. The drink stormy don was very good. Fresh ingredients mixed together. First time my wife and I have been out alone, we have three kids, in a long time and it kinda started with a bad note from this. It first visit I had there was such a disappointment. I went on a Sunday don't know if they were short staffed? The place could...

We were taking an early walk along the Bluff and headed out towards High Street. The Little Easy looked inviting and was open at 7am. We decided to go in and sat outside in their inviting outdoor area.

Jaz, our waitress, welcomed us and recommended the Sunrise Martini. Wow! A fabulous cocktail!! Carol had the Scratch Margarita which was very well done! This was great way to start their Boozy Brunch!

This is no ordinary place! The stoneground grits were the best I have ever had! The applewood bacon was rich in flavor, and my scrambled eggs were moist and deliciously well done. Bread was soo good as well. I had a Latte, and again, it was delicious!

Carol had an omelette which was customized with Gouda plus and it was a smoky, deliciously well made and was accompanied with potatoes. Again, great bread was provided.

Excellent, sophisticated cuisine in a casual setting is my favorite combo. Add to this, a smart, friendly and knowledgeable professional like Jaz, and you have...
