Read moreThe menu looks good and with the reviews I was thrilled to go. It is in a great spot downtown, I sat outside, everything was fine. We ordered two brisket sandwiches. One to be meat only, one to have everything. It took a bit to get our food. I started to eat the rock hard fries, then server came over to say that wasn't our food, they took it away. We waited a bit more, never asked for refills on drinks or checked on. Food came fries were so limp, like wet shoe laces on a plate. One sandwich that should be meat only, had salsa on it. One sandwich that should have everything; had two halves of cherry tomatoes on the whole sandwich, no gouda cheese, and no caramelized onions. I went on a Sunday don't know if they were short staffed? The place could...
Read moreWe were taking an early walk along the Bluff and headed out towards High Street. The Little Easy looked inviting and was open at 7am. We decided to go in and sat outside in their inviting outdoor area.
Jaz, our waitress, welcomed us and recommended the Sunrise Martini. Wow! A fabulous cocktail!! Carol had the Scratch Margarita which was very well done! This was great way to start their Boozy Brunch!
This is no ordinary place! The stoneground grits were the best I have ever had! The applewood bacon was rich in flavor, and my scrambled eggs were moist and deliciously well done. Bread was soo good as well. I had a Latte, and again, it was delicious!
Carol had an omelette which was customized with Gouda plus and it was a smoky, deliciously well made and was accompanied with potatoes. Again, great bread was provided.
Excellent, sophisticated cuisine in a casual setting is my favorite combo. Add to this, a smart, friendly and knowledgeable professional like Jaz, and you have...
