Carnival is by far one of the most amazing Fusion store there is, the fusion between the Mediterranean flavor and the hispanic Mexican flavor is very clearly distinguished when you come in and look at the store and see a lot of Mexican products, and also a lot of Mediterranean Arabic products, their flour tortillas are amazing you can get them half cooked or fully cooked so be careful when you grab a bag make sure you read if it's half cook then you have to get home and put her in a skillet and then you know make sure that it's nice and warm and cooked full 100%, their cheeses I recommend you the manchego cheese, the Oaxaca cheese, as well as the variety of tamales they offer it's amazing how many different varieties of tamales they have. They do have Mediterranean food the kebabs chicken beef you can't miss it the best part of it as you can order to go or you can actually have it there the prices are super super great and I am a big guy and their meal with the two kabobs salad second item and pita is more than enough for me and normally finish about half to three quarters and I take the rest home just my wife that's the same thing too. As I say that your tortillas are number one just make sure again you know what to do with them but at the same time enjoy my kids always ask when we go there to get them a few and we normally do and they don't last but a day or two. They're Mexican style bread is good and there arros con leche it's pretty standard but actually not as sweet as I was used to when I was a kid. There's one thing I have to recommend also is the I aguas frescas, they have so many Jamaica is really good their fruits like the pepino with lemon agua fresca is amazing the pineapple water with so many other fruits they put in there too, the cebada agua fresca I'm very coffee I aguas are so delicious. And the service is always amazing they're always smile with you they have recommendations they help you with a smile and they're always super kind I've met some of the owner associates on the stores and they're always super happy to help you or answer any questions you have. If you ever have a chance to stop by do because it's worth the time and worthwhile. They do have handicap parking they have dining in if you want to check out and buy something I need it there or you can take it home. My kids my wife and I and everybody that we recommend this...
Read moreBeen coming here for years. Hadn’t been here for 1 - 2 mos. They have a “rewards” system, upon check out I typed in my phone number —the all of a sudden it is acting like I’m new, the cashier finishes before I can continue entering the extra info it’s asking me for. I ask the cashier did my points for this purchase go through—she can’t tell me. I go to a “manager” at the alcoholics section—the manager can’t tell me either. Says they have a new system—so we can earn food etc. I said what kind of new system can’t tell you if I earned points or how many have accumulated. That’s a shady practice. Also the state or governmental agency that oversees prices, weights and measures needs to do an audit because many times I’ve seen or experienced where what they’re charging you is not the accurate amount. On more than one occasion I saw what appeared to be a miskeyed price—for example a coconut cup for $89.99 instead of $8.99. Imagine if the person pays with EBT but didn’t realize the error? I do not recommend this location. That’s why I do not frequent this one — and been avoiding the others as well—except for today grandson wanted something and we...
Read moreSince search engines don't show local businesses anymore, it is a challenge to find local businesses that carry what I'm looking for, constantly.
I drove down on my search for a large bag(s) of saladitos, because, well, they're delicious.
On entering, I immediately was enamored by the selections of cooked and fresh produce as well as meats (in the wererear of the store) visibly fresh denoting high turnover and care.
I asked a gentlemen stocking shelves if they carried saladitos in bulk. He tried to help, no luck.
I was heart broken (yes, over saladitos) and before heading out, made a last ditch effort by asking another employee. She was going to direct me to the man I had spoke to, but I told her he had tried locating and was unsuccessful.
She stepped away to investigate and seconds later, returned with the 1 pound bag of El Super Leon Saladitos, and then showed me where they were (next to the produce on shelves below my waist, which im apparently blind to) so I could grab additional bags.
This is a well organized store with friendly staff and patrons and definitely worth the drive if you dont...
