Have been getting deer processed here for more years i can remember. Looks like that will change. Love their sausage and friendly service, but the ground meat will cause me to go elsewhere. Last year when i picked up my deer the ground meat was put up in a flat square bag that looked like a food saver bag but much thinner. The bags are stacked in paper bags and are stuck togather (frozen togather) when you try to put em in your freezer. When you wish to remove a bag for cooking thr stuck bags wind up tearing rendering the bags you dont use as useless. There might be as many as 6-8bags stuck togather in a stack. I asked about getting the meat in the round bags like i have gotten for past 30 years. Was told politely” no deal”. I know the flat bags are cheaper and faster, but you wind up having to rebag all the torn bags when you separate them. Will either have to do it myself or find someone who offers round bags. I still gave a supply of round bags from yeats past. Sorry to go, but i see no other...

The chopped beef was a tad salty but was good overall. The link was excellent. Baked beans were excellent. Potato salad was above average. I will be returning if I am in the area. The main negative is I feel like the portions could be increased for the price. They are not small but...
