I had a great experience here and honestly found my new oil change shop. I pulled up and wasn’t even able to get out of my truck before someone was walking out to have me pull around into one of the service bays. Having never been here before there was a couple simple questions that I’m sure repeat customers aren’t asked (oil preference type, confirming phone number, stuff like that) but once they had that they had me stay in my truck and got right into changing my oil and filter. It took just a hair longer than 10 minutes but with 2 extra quarts that makes sense. They gave me a water while I was waiting and took care of everything. 2 things really stood out though; the first is they told me about the website to check out that might have some coupons to save me even more (it did, thank you Issac!) and second, they showed me everything. They showed how they were filling the washer fluid reservoir, they walked over and showed me my cabin air filter and didn’t even try and upsell me on it; they said it had maybe 2-3 more oil changes before I needed to think about replacing it, and answer all my questions and even ran a code that my engine that I had. And before the coupon, even with the extra oil fee, and all the other work they did, it was still a great price, especially considering the time saved. Do I think they could replace my transmission or fix a rusty catalytic converter? No, but that’s ok. This is the place you go too to get your oil changed by people that know how to do that, and who aren’t there to upsell you on 100 things you don’t need. Nice to know places like this still exist; the kind of places I can send my wife too and trust they won’t add a $400 charge too because they “replaced the blinker fluid” or something else...
Read moreI am making this review to make people aware because like me most people dont think to check anything under the vehicle, we trust those who work on our cars. I took my SUV there for an oil change 5000 miles ago because my usual shop couldn't get me in before I went out of town and I had been to this location before. I will say the employees I delt with have always been friendly. But when I got my vehicle serviced by my usual shop today I was informed my skid plate only had about 4 screws in it, typically there's about 10 to hold that in place, and my drain plug had to be replaced because when stricklands replaced it they couldn't get it to fit properly so they removed the seal and jammed the plug in there so it wouldn't leak. Now thankfully it did hold, but if it wouldn't have then I could have leaked oil and never known. It was a simple fix that only cost me $3 but had the potential to be a much more expensive and dangerous problem. Please speak to your employees about the right way to handle situations not the quick easy fix. Someone's family is traveling in the vehicle they do service to, if it was their family members vehicle would they take the shortcuts they do on people who come in...
Read moreI got my email change here today and was floored at the price. With all the glowing reviews I thought this place was going to be something so different, but wasn't even close.
First, They don't offer tire rotation so I have to go somewhere else to get this done. Which adds time, so the 10 minute part is out the window.
Earlier this week I had brought in another car and they had forgotten to take off the discount. The worker said how about $20 off my next oil change? I said okay.
Then then the manager came out and offered me 20% off, which he said that would be about the same. I took the offer and had not done my math. That would come out to over a $6 difference. So that was my fault.
Came back a few days later to utilize 20% off but even after that was taken off my bill came out to $100. Whaaaaaat!!!!! I was floored. He offered to take another 5% off. I can take it to a local garage, and might have to wait a little longer, but it is way less.
I think it would behoove this location to at least warn when the total is going to be super high. I...
