Another discouraging day at CVS. This store doesn't have much going for itself. Not enough workers, long lines because of all different kinds of problems, medications not ready when you arrive, could have been called in three days earlier and it will still be in process, medication not in stock, billing is not done correctly over and over, and customers are not satisfied in general with any of the services. You can only overlook so much. If it wasn't for my husband not wanting to change over all of the many different medications I wouldn't be dealing with CVS.
It is amazing how CVS continues to grow fat as a company and unable to provide its employees with basic customer service education. Customer service 101 certainly missing in this New Milford store. I came here today to get one of my prescriptions refilled and was told my insurance no longer covered the medication and that the drug was available OTC, however CVS did not carry in the store. So when I asked if they could order for me the answer was: "I hate to say but you are better off ordering from Amazon". The pharmacist at the next register, who was not even part of the initial discussion, jumped in and said if not OTC we don't carry. Well, I guess CVS is more concerned with volume by ringing the next customer behind me, who was buying a bag of chips and soda, than taking care of customers who have been getting medications through them for years. No more CVS for me. Shortly after I called Walgreens and no issues getting that medication fulfilled. They even told me about getting advantage of additional savings by using GoodRx coupons, so I checked that site and most pharmacies participate in the program, but with no surprise, CVS was not listed. Just finished updating my doctors profile to use Walgreen going forward. Instead, I will come to CVS next time if i am in a jiffy to get some...
Read moreThis is a sad example of a once finely run pharmacy that has declined to a business to avoid. I recently had a shoulder replacement and had been receiving pain meds every week without issue. All of a sudden the scripts are not being filled. Since we can’t actually talk to anyone we are told to leave a message on their “easy to use” automated voicemail system. No one ever gets back to you. So, I had to get in my car and drive there to speak to someone only to be told that my provider suddenly is not sending the script in properly. The notice says they are contacting my doctor to clarify. Never happens. I’m the one who becomes the person stuck in the middle trying to rectify the issue. There is no longer any patient care. This is a poorly run business by people who are overworked and overwhelmed by low staffing. People are quitting left and right. They now have a doctor who was brought in to straighten the mess out which I was told includes “compliance issues”, over opioid drug scripts. This is a terrible situation. I have now been without pain meds for over a week now. I am seriously considering switching to...
