New Milford Town Green — Attraction in New Milford

Town Green is a busy area with a variety of small businesses, Library, Arts and crafts and restaurants. Summer allows for free concerts with a variety of musical genres, Farmers market and several Holiday functions. The only issue I have is that in some areas of crosswalks there isn't adequate lighting which makes it difficult to see pedestrians and most people don't use the designated crosswalks and just walk out from in between parked cars making it a bit dangerous. You definitely need to drive slow and be observant of children and adults that may be in the road. Lastly although I do appreciate the work that is done to decorate the green at Christmas as a taxpayer I feel that the cost involved is to excessive I think that it could be decorated differently and still look great without the cost for so much...

If you're a Gilmore Girls fan, this town green is worth a visit. The gazebo is very pretty and reminds me of the gazebo on the show. It's about a quarter mile long and lined with trees, benches, and flowers. It's also historic and has been around since the 1700s. There are some war memorials too.

Many concerts, farmer's markets, and festivals takes place on the green. There were street parking throughout. It's in a lovely location with many shops, cafes, restaurants, church, Library, and more. If you're visiting New Milford, you can't miss...

New Milford Town Green is a wonderful place to go, excellent green grass not battered, the view is good, good shade, seats, nice planted trees and flowers, seats to sit. Businesses around the green, foods jewellery, post office library, lawyers offices, agencies , on Saturdays nine to twelve, a farmer's market is also held on the green itself.
