Great Taste Fusion — Restaurant in New Milford

My fiancé and I were in the mood for Chinese. We have never gotten from Greate Taste Fusion before. We decided to try it to see if it could be our new place. Lots of parking right in front on the green. Very convenient for me to get to. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice ambience inside. I guess normally there would be dine in but due to Covid, there is currently no indoor seating. The person who picked up the phone was very courteous and sweet. It was the same when I arrived to pick up my food. Food was ready so I did not have to wait. The food itself was just OK. It’s a little higher priced than I’m used to paying for Chinese food. General Tso is my favorite Chinese dish to get. This was not one of the better ones that I’ve had. My fiancé got the beef with mixed vegetables. I tried a piece of the beef which had lots of flavor. It was a little chewy and the pork fried rice was meh. I was excited after seeing their large Dubbling menu. We went with the pork and chive steamed dumplings. I love this places food, it's a taste of home for me, the issue is just the service. Usually their all very kind and well mannered but a week or so ago they served me and my friend Boba with spoiled milk. I wasn't upset at all, working in kitchens is tough, so I just let them know but they just refused to believe it was spoiled, despite it being sour and smelling rotten. I was really sad because this place is like my comfort food, and now I feel kind of worried about eating there again. I wasn't even upset I just wanted my money back.

t takes almost 45 minutes to get your food, even after being told it will be 20 minutes, which is twice as long as most Chinese food take-out places. So 45 minutes means they aren't even going to start making it for some time. There are two people working and the woman at the front is clearly overwhelmed. Why they can't hire one more person to help them is unclear, but I'm done spending my money here. The food is good, not too greasy. But I would rather give my money to another restaurant who has their...
