Steak was quite good, cooked as preferred. A bit grisly for a ribeye but tasty. Veggies really good, with enough seasonings & a nice bite left on them(not mushy). Mashed potatoes good. Kind of missed having gravy but maybe was missing because we're GF but that said we have had gravy elsewhere with the same restrictions. Drinks were pretty good. Place was nice & was glad it wasn't crowded on a Sunday night at 8ish to allow for comfortable dining in with social distancing. Waitress was pretty good & was good at seeing if we needed anything. Was a bit surprised on how we were told first thing we walked in, that kitchen was closing due to food running out as it was a holiday, but that steak was available as an option. But then again with pandemic & supply issues I guess it makes sense plus being a mini holiday day. Would recommend & would eat there again.

I have been here about three times since owners have changed and I still love it here. The service is great, food is always pretty tasty. Came here on New Years Day. It wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. This was perfectly fine. The scallop appetizer didn't appear seared. It was still pretty tasty with the sauce and bacon. My poor delicious salmon I was craving was definitely over cooked. I wish there was more mango and peppers on it as this was what gave it most of it's flavors. I enjoyed this pretty healthy meal. The crab cake was amazing and my Mom really enjoyed the steak and crab meat entree. This is still one of my favorite spots. Love the servers. They are always so pleasant and friendly. Can't wait to do their brunch.

A new discovery. 10 minutes from the elephant flea market. A fantastic pub food restaurant. The train wreck burger good flavor, appears a bit small on the pretzel bun, but very filling. The fries are house made, fresh it seems. Lost a star on food for the brunch sandwich with horseradish sauce. The rise radish sauce wasn't pronounced enough on the palet. Everything else was good. Appetizers aware the artichoke dip recommended, good flavor and well textured. The pretzel Appetizer again, very good, nice flavor smoke cheese dip, good texture and salt on the pretzel. Decore is great. Wait staff friendly and Profesional. High recommend!

I just want to preface this by saying that I’m not the type of person to write a bad review on a business but I felt it was necessary after the treatment I received for giving a customer complaint to the manager so here goes. I had my daughter’s one year old birthday here and I would never have a party there again and maybe never eat there either. I was a new customer to Iron Rail. I booked based on a recommendation from a friend. Apparently there were a lot of miscommunications among the staff about the party (the amount of ppl, the set up, the food).

We were told we could set up the night before but another miscommunication and actually there was a party there the night before so we needed to come the morning of the party. Ok fine. It’s a bit harder for us but we did, albeit a little late because we had a mishap that morning. One woman greeted us, didn’t introduce herself but seemed completely disinterested in helping us and told us you can set up however you’d like, move whatever you want and then she disappeared. The waiter paid NO attention to the guest of honor- a one year old. I’m not sure how that happens. The food came out VERY late. My daughter actually started to get irritable because she was hungry. One of our guest’s was told by the waiter after ordering maybe a half hour ago that they don’t have the thing she wanted so she had to order something else which also arrived late to the point where she didn’t have time to eat it because the party was almost over. I messaged the restaurant a complaint afterwards which I never do but felt needed to be done so they are at least aware of what went wrong so they can prevent it from happening to someone else in the future. A woman named Konstantine who I guess is one of the managers wrote back a very nasty email where she became defensive and even said we were late to set up and shouldn’t have moved chairs. She also asked why i would want anyone to pay attention to my daughter. 😳😳 Completely rude, piss poor customer service. Never book a party here and don’t deal with this woman if you...

Honestly I know the owners are new & with any new changes we have to provide time to work out some of the kinks. However, the Iron Rail was our go to spot every Friday nights. My husband and I would sit at the bar order a couple drinks & eat our dinner. We’d close the place out with the owners. With the new management the entire atmosphere changed and we just no longer enjoy spending our Fridays there. We’d given it a few chances and there was just always something. I must start with the bartending…as customers we felt ignored not just on one occasion it’s every time we go. Overtime you tend to gain a relationship with your bartender they get to know their customers, their drinks, etc. Thats not the vibe we get and there seems to be no interest getting to that. Try and work on being more personable with your patrons. You have a lot of locals who just want to kick back and enjoy some drinks with good eats. Do better by them. You have to change that dynamic if you want to be successful.

The food. There have been some changes and just with any restaurant there will be likes and dislikes but I must say…what restaurant doesn’t have Balsamic vinegar dressing? What restaurant doesn’t have Specials on a Friday night? Prime Rib was the go to with au jus and it’s always been on the menu but last night no Specials were even offered. It’s nice to get more available options than the regular menu, sometimes people get bored eating the same things over and over again Specials offer a nice change in pace especially to your regulars.

The Rail has potential to be a gold mine just have to get back to basics & give people better service &...

My husband and I wanted to grab something tasty tonight! Wanted to try some place we've never ate before and since we were heading to New Milford this was the 1st to pop up on the list. Day after halloween and thankfully they still had their cocktail/drink menu up! We had witches brew, vampire bite, and hayride punch. They were all extremely delicious, but I'd have to say vampire bite, and witches brew were our favorites! My husband said definitely should do vampire bite in pitcher hahah or giant fishbowl! I had French onion soup, and he had the chili. French onion soup so yummy and warming great for a chilly evening! I had the train wreck burger 🍔 everything was fresh, all the ingredients were delicious, and fresh. The meat though 🥲🤤 was the most tenderist, and juiciest I've ever had a burger!!! Everything about both of our meals were so deliciously filling. Exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere was nice, warm, inviting and not to loud. The servers and chef and all kitchen help and floor they all did a wonderful job! I hope you guys continue to bring people happiness with the food your staff is putting out! I have nothing but high hopes for your establishment and those who help run & maintain it! With out them is like butter with no bread Sorry haha that was lame Basically what I'm saying is TAKE TIME OUT AND ENJOY A GREAT MEAL BY YOURSELF OR WITH FRIENDS OR SOMEONE SPECIAL!!!

Also because I know to some it's very important the entire establishment from floor to bathrooms all around up & down was extremely CLEAN! They work hard to keep good order there...
