Beautiful and peaceful. A must see. Learn about the Amazing Saint Father Seelos. Tour the wonderful museum/Shrine watch an 8 minute film that educates you on and their gift shop is full of lovely momento. Then you can tour the Church St. Mary's Assumption Church. Absolutely Beautiful inside. Miracles have been known to happen when you pray to Father Seelos. The Shrine of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos is such a Beautiful peaceful place to go. And all the helpers their work strictly volunteered and are very sweet , helpful and Kind.

Experience the inspiring story of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos. At this location you will find his relics and other memorabilia of this beloved priest's work in the area of New Orleans during the yellow fever epidemic of the 1800s. Light candles and pray at the site and, if you are open to it, trained counselors are available to pray with you. The nearby gift shop has many unique and attractive gift items, jewelry, prayer cards and religious material for sale at very reasonable prices. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Beautiful and peaceful. This cisit was very emotional for my husband and I as we have experienced a blessing through the intercession of Blessed Fr. Seelos. The shrines and the church were so beautiful it was hard to leave. I've never seen so many relics in one place! We visited the gift shop where we finally found Sacred and Immaculate Heart pictures to consecrate our home.

I bought some replicas for my great-niece who has brain cancer fourth degree or grade I'm really not familiar with the terminology she's nine years old and she's not going to survive long our family has accepted this we're looking for a miracle Sophia is so strong she's from Hanover Massachusetts all prayers any prayers we can get will be grateful for God bless you all I'm not trying to sound like I know anything about what I'm talking about all I know is my sister her son and their family desperate I don't know if it's degree or 4th grade I'm ignorant I don't lie about that I don't pretend I know I just know my sister her husband and her son his wife I desperate for any help they can get I am a firm believer please say prayers for Sophia thank you all God...

The shrine of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos is a profound place to visit. People travel all over the world to go to various shrines and we have this powerful saint right here in New Orleans. I have been going to this shrine for the past 27 years. St. Mary's is one of the beautiful churches here in our city. Prayers are answered by this saint, especially for cancer. I myself have cancer and am doing fine so far, all thanks to his intercession. My grandson was born a preme, he only weighed 2 lbs when born, my daughter placed the 1st class relic in his nicu crib, it stayed with him the whole time. He is now 4 yrs old, a beautiful little boy with the name...

Visiting this shrine will give you a beautiful insight into the life of Blessed Father Francis Xavier Seelos. The small museum is very well done with a wonderful video that is very enlightening. There is usually someone at the shrine to pray with you to Father Seelos and answer any questions that you may have. St. Mary's Assumption Church is stunning, if you happen to be there when it is open, be sure to take a look... you may forget that you are in the United States and not in Europe. In addition, there is a lovely gift shop... be sure to stop by after you...
