Like most fun things to do in New Orleans this is one that is free. Stop by the mansion used in American Horror Story Coven and admire its architectural beauty. It is on Jackson Avenue between st-chaSaint Charles Ave and Prytania. That kind of stuff creeps me out but a visior insisted we swing by. I'm glad we did. You can't go inside the wrought iron gates but you can peer down the alleyi and possibly catch a handyman for some interesting New Orleans banter.

Lovely historic home with a gorgeous ironwork fence in New Orleans’ Garden District. This house served as Miss Robichaux’s Academy, the school for witchcraft, in American Horror Story: Coven. The owners do not want you lingering in front of their home for long though - there are several private property and no loitering signs along the front gate.

Unless you are a fan of the TV show, there isn’t much to see. It’s a private property and you are expected to respect this. As of July 2024, the property seems to be for sale. I don’t think there is any way to access this place. “No loitering. No soliciting.” If you go on a Sunday, expect no parking spaces since there is a church across the street.

We walked by this place because my son wanted to check it out. According to him it's copied in a video game called Red Dead Redemption 2, a cowboy simulator. I'm looking forward to trying the game out. There's not much here except a plaque that tells you that it's a private residence and that loitering isn't allowed. So I am pretty sure it's not cool to hang out or even take pics. UT whatever we walked by trying to be as chill as possible. It was really hot that day but we are from Florida, so waking around the breezy shady neighborhood was OK. Just keep quiet and keep...

Not really a destination as much as something to see in passing by. This house was popularized by its appearance in the FX show American horror story. The owner must know that there are avid fans such as ourselves who will visit the home because there are signs posted warning loiterers. I wouldn’t stay long but the community is not gated and nobody can bother you for just walking by. Enjoy the neighborhood for its beauty and don’t linger too long. Very majestic...
