Trying hard to keep business local but yet when I am told someone will be at my house between a two hour window and isn't AND no phone call was received saying they would be late, I left for my next appointment. Arriving 40 minutes past the window (had to have husband get home to meet the service tech), he spent 7 minutes and charged me $170 to tell me my dryer needed a new motor. Shouldn't there be some diagnostic questions asked over the phone to determine if a house call is even needed? Or a disclosure about the cost of a service call? Neither. I gave them my package of two filters that were the wrong size…priced at $7.99. I had no use for them. Must have gone with a vacuum I no longer own. They did not have the correct sized filters. Service guy insisted that I had mistreated my vacuum, and that I had been yanking the cord out of the wall, thus breaking SECOND plug on my overpriced Miele vacuum. I HAD NOT!
